QUOTE(deric88 @ Dec 5 2006, 03:11 PM) my e6300@ 2.4Ghz 63'C idle 80'C full load from TAT yeah u need to get a nice HSF + TIM, and the way u put thermal paste do affect the temp too. i got 58c while full load orthos but after i reapply the thermal paste due to some technical problem my full load become 62c.. but EasyTune shows 53'C idle 70'C full load, which one more accurate... mean time i better change back to stock speed, anyway to lower temperature using stock fan? where can i get orthos? btw using coretemp, tat and everest should be accurate for the temp reading |

Ya, vCore a bit high there... I'm running 7x430 @ 1.225V / 1.192V shown in CPU-Z. Could lower you vCore a bit and extend the life of our processor
@deric88 high voltage runs cooler? ---> No way... lower better~! Less heat and less power... This post has been edited by MaGicDust: Dec 6 2006, 07:51 AM |

E6600 To yehlai, U will not gain much performance boost...I would suggest U go 6600...or maybe yr previous proc is "ubi" ( aka not overclockable) and need to chance This post has been edited by mikelanding: Dec 6 2006, 12:50 PM |
