Nevermind now, I'm trying to apply from other banks. See which is easiest to get.

Yesterday received new CIMB Preferred credit card (Pay wave) via Poslaju but havent activate it.

This morning 3am received 2 transactions in USD 300+ and USD 500+.

Call customer service to bar it and they told that the transaction is from the new card.

How can someone fraud with the card even before activation? The envelope is unopened.

I have request to decrease 60% or my Credit Limit just after received the card.
Should have apply for supplementary card for more cash back. sad.gif

Wonder it there any 1hour approval and obtain card on the spot for sub card?

Fill in form and send via email.
Supplementary cannot have 1 hour approval, not any bank offers this.

cimb system is pathetic...

apply through cimb website, input all related info, click next and loading forever...
redo again input all info, click next and loading forever...
try different browser and laptop at different time, SAME
give up...

next day someone from cimb call me said they received my application for CC, email me and ask me reply with attached documents, i sent with 200kb documents, get bounce back said the received email fullll

try upload through their website, click once and loading forever....

call cimb bank, they check the email is correct and then ask me send again, if failed => apply again on cimbclicks website... WT#...

You can call to request them to set SMS Transaction alert threshold to RM1 then you should be receiving SMS for any transaction above RM1

Not very sure about the exact process because I didn't do it, but when I was applying for my supp cards (which I did via email), I recall CIMB CS said can do same day approval at KLCC and Midvalley card centre for supp card.

I'm not super sure if this info is correct since I don't have first hand experience, but can call CS to confirm exact procedure and time line.

My online application was processed in 2 working days, but it took a while to actually receive the card (total approx 2 weeks from submission of application).

Not 100% sure as I wasn't really paying attention and didn't use this myself, but I vaguely remember she said collect same day if I needed it urgently. It's worth calling CS to confirm before going there, so I don't give wrong information.

is it the total CL of all your CC?
If so is not consider high. Bank also check CCRIS on loan to evaluate as well

I have applied for CIMB (CIMB PETRONAS MasterCard) on 25 August. Until now no call, no email, no mail update me my current status now.

I have been rejected when applying online, due to my bad record (Must be PTPTN), but I clear all my outstanding amount and start paying according to the schedule from May2016.

I walk-in to CIMB branch nearby masjud jamek to apply again. What documents I provide to credit card officer are:

1. Pengesahan Letter from PTPTN to state that I have no outstanding amount, and paying on time.
2. 3 months latest payslip
3. EPF statement year 2015, 2016.

And today, as at 15/09/2016 no body update me my application status. If rejected I can apply for other bank la... They shud keep us update latest status. haizzz....
