I have sent supp application to cardsmktg@cimb.com at Sep 19

Until Sep 23 no reply, so i forward my email to cardcentre@cimb.com and cc cardsmktg@cimb.com at Sep 23 stated to process the application and I also mention i got no reply when sending to cardsmktg@cimb.com.

At Sep 26, cardsmktg@cimb.com reply me saying they received my application at Sep 19 and they are currently processing. I saw additional card appear in my CIMB Click in the same day

At Sep 29 received my supp card.
Conclusion, you may send follow up email to ask for a head up if you are not getting any update.

When did you send in your applications?

I sent mine on 30 September (for 2 more supp cards), but no response yet. After reading your post, decided to send a follow up e-mail.

They are pretty bad huh?

hi all,

anyone got such issue before? you had a CIMB card like 10 years ago...then you go do CCRIS or CTOS check and suddenly realized the card you cancelled long time ago...still got a few ringgit due....

how do you guys pay? i tried to call customer service and was requested to call another number but that number no one ever pick up today... will continue to try but just wondering how to settle such outstanding amount... totally lost the card number history etc already....

Not me... but my sister... she never bother check all this and assume cancel card and probably wrongly assumed fully paid.... and never really got letter from Bank... not sure if because moving around due to jobs and never update address....

Then recently I help her check her ccris and only noticed this record for an old card.....

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 7 2016, 08:21 PM)
I believe banks will have the record. I'm surprised that you didn't receive any letter from them.

To be safe just call the CS and make sure it is cancelled and no chance to activate it....

QUOTE(screwedpeep @ Nov 13 2016, 11:13 AM)
Not in my case though. Never received such sms. Suddenly appeared in cimbclicks last 2 weeks and mail dropped on last friday.

Let's say i don't activate it. And i want to apply a cc with other bank. I suppose this card won't appear in my ccris right? Afraid it will affect my application.
