Any prize?

Don't post this kind of posts in a post counted discussion. First page full of such posts will not be useful.
So yeah, everyone refrain from doing this. Thanks.

Does this card offers complementary travel insurance if I book my flight ticket with this card?

My flight got delayed and I booked with this card. Couldn't find the answer on CIMB website.

Which card? CIMB CR I supposed?

11. Are there any insurance coverage benefits attached to this card?
There is no insurance coverage for this product.

Cool down Sis, yes transaction date always on 28th n posting date on 29th., I think it will appear late night of 29th. in cimbclicks.
*
Nah, it's OK.
Alright noted, I usually don't bother about the cash back but because I used Grabcar so I just want to know if it comes with any cash back.

i purchased grocery in giant about rm30, and still need signature. its the new card.
*
Signature is required for all amounts but in the future when PIN & Pay already implemented, that is not the case anymore.

Hopefully banks can give us the option to enter PIN even if it is below RM 250.

hey correct me if i am wrong, so your saving is below

charge RM1k to 1) aeon: 1000 rewards point
2) uob vox: RM 50 cash rebate
total: 1000 rewards and RM 50 cash rebate
?

thats brilliant idea! i should do the same! i wonder if there are ways to pay ptptn online using credit card.
*
UOB VOX is 5.3% but do not forget about 2% service charge. So cost effectiveness is 3.3%.

Nope, no way to pay. If there is, won't go through this route. All the online channels for PTPTN are no longer available.

Just checking there is no way we can find from the statement which transaction gave which percentage of rebate right ?
*
No way, figure yourself. That's why we have Excel tracking but because the cash back for my CIMB CR is too little, I don't bother creating one. It's not difficult to track though.

it's slot, hence i'm surprise no signature
my m2 amex no wave feature at all

since the pin and pay not started yet, i doubt they can actually implement it now
*
McD's slot doesn't require signature. Used that on old MACH card but these days just tap only, thanks to my new MACH Pin & Pay card which comes with PayWave. Just bought my set with CC and got free Frozen Coke. biggrin.gif

then I will get charge?

Borders charges only applicable for online transactions.
That said you will be charged with service charge and also based on forex rate when you swipe in overseas.

Oh no  doh.gif So generally swiping overseas have no cross border charges?
We swiped in MYR last month overseas and still got charged, so I guess there won't be any if we swipe in their local currency instead?
*
Refer to this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1845691
What I understand cross borders charges only applicable for online. For overseas, of course there are bank charges + exchange rate.

so, for cimb cc,
other than boarder charge, we will still need to pay for other charges(like service charge & etc) if use our cc in foreign country?
*
Service charge and exchange rate applicable to all cards, not only CIMB.
