Thanks for the reply.

2016 Mazda2 Scam by using the ad to attract the customer, but introduce other units when customer in their car shop? Not really get what you mean.. Pls forgive me for little knowledge about reposes unit, what's the cons of reposes unit? Is reposes unit similar to car showroom unit?

2016 VW Vento/Polo Sedan/Polo Hatch Yea, almost missed out this. Yea, 1.6MPI engine seems fit into my budget range and preference. Would go for a test drive first, do you have any SA to introduce  biggrin.gif  I'm staying in PJ

2012 Suzuki Kizashi 2.4 Err, I will give a skip for this one. The insurance and roadtax would be a huge leap to me  rclxub.gif

for the first bit.... basically like false advertising in supermarkets, they get you to come over, then once you are there, price changes or car isnt available..... so they convince you to look at another car (in this case, maybe another mazda 2 which may or may not be to your liking) or another model (maybe city) and since you dont want it to be a wasted trip you might go along and view a diferent car... a repo car is a repossessed car... somebody bought the car then could not pay for it, so they take the car back.... cons? well obviously its used and well someone might come cari you to get 'their' car back.... (the other con i can think of is that if the owner could not pay for the car, there is also a chance he could not pay for maintanance)

polo sedan, basically a saga in germany but wow much nicer than our local saga's..... vw badge without the major vw problems

kizashi, ohh pretty pretty~~

I am currently interested in a kia cerato (reg. dec 2013) from a used car dealer. But I need a help from someone who can recommend a mechanic who can help inspect the car and check if got in accident before.

The problem is the dealer don't let me take the car out of the dealership, so the mechanic have to come to the dealership at Jalan Klang Lama, next to Federal highway and the LDP "Penang Bridge"

Can anybody help me with this? Hopefully can check on this Monday, then I will put down booking fee d.

How much you can offer to ask a Kia's mechanic to take a half day leave from his job at any Kia' 5S Service Center to help you out ?

no Mazda 2's price is around RM85,000.00.It is better for MR.aka to buy Suprima S standard. Ok Lsm1991, i thought you recommended me to buy suprima s. and you call me a preacher for proton. Hey, it depend on his budget.Or Buy Suzuki Swift which is around 60k too. However i still recommend you to buy Proton Suprima S standard(http://www.proton-edar.com.my/en/Promotions/Proton%20Suprima%20S%20Promo.aspx#promo-details)What do you think LSM1991? because it falls on his budget.

im getting a headache........

first, reread the sentence, you might need some work on your reading and understanding.

Next, pls go learn set theory, should be something you learnt very recently.... if you dont know what it is, i suggest you study a little harder. based on diferent requirements and constraints, the resulting answer might be diferent. Now i understand why you your suggestions completely disregard the poster's requirements.... understanding this theory should help you alot here.

Mazda2 - there are a few scam types, but the most common one is advertising a car way below market value (in the case of this Mazda2 it is too young to be that price) then when you arrive at the used car dealer he will give 101 excuses why the car isn't available anymore from just sold to booked already, you won't even get to see the car. Reposes units are "kereta tarik" someone bought the car then couldn't afford to pay monthly to the bank so after a 3 months the bank will take back the car.

VW Vento/Polo - The Vios of Germany, maintenance shouldn't be astronomical but good interior and handling for such a range. Do consider.

Kizashi - LOL! okay. devil.gif

Hi guys,

Planning to get a Honda Insight (obviously used). year 2012/2013. depends.

Usually whats the interest rate on Honda used cars nowadays? What bank allows easier loans?

I have a 2008 satria neo i wanted to trade in, 1.6 manual. a little beat up, dinged here n there. should i fix it up before approaching used car dealerships for trade in, or should i fix the car up 1st?

Guys. Any input about VW Vento?

Highline uses DSG.

But comfort line uses 6 speed tiptronic.

Is the gb only problem for vw or any other part?

Ok guys. Thanks for the info.

Went to test drive VW Vento, both 1.6MPI and 1.2TSI.
Not really keen on 1.6 MPI as I felt it's underpowered. No offence.
Surprisingly the 1.2tsi could satisfy me, but with a price of 80k after rebate.

Otherthan resale value, any cons of 1.2 TSI?
And other option for budget of 80k?

Wait, the Vento you tried is 1.6?? Which line? Trend or comfort?

Maybank have special promotion for this vento. Free for the rest of 2016, but T and C.

How is it feel, compared to other b seg car? Really underpowered?

But the TSI is DSG.... Main problem I guess.

they having huge rebate iinm. up to 8k rite?

frankly speaking the 1.6 isnt powerful (but against a waja, i doubt your waja is more powerful unless its been souped up abit or its a manual?

anyway cons of the 1.2? dsg... that dsg and tsi (though mainly its that dsg which is the major problem) is a moving time bomb... get one only if you are willing to potentially risk a big bill with your name on it out there somewhere....

vw says no more issues after they switched to mineral oil, but go talk to the raging owners about it.... they have lots to say...... have 2 friends whih cars with these engines.... one has 100% no issues since he got it... and the other has racked up north of 15k++ worth of tranny related bills over the years BUT he still likes it so he isnt one of the raging owners

I agree with what you mentioned. Take back what I said biggrin.gif Not quite sure is the route issue or the way drove is wrong. Probably I need to hit until 4000 rpm to test the power. But the 1.2 TSI is really tempting.

Tried Highline and Comfortline. It's subjective regarding engine power, for 1.6MPI it takes 6-7 sec to reach 100km/h with almost full throttle, hardly test for further speed due to route.
The difference between Comfort and Trend is just number of airbags and some interior design.

For 1.2 TSI, no doubt about the pick up speed and some safety features.

Yeah, either you take free installment until next year with down payment or cash rebate up to 10k. Depends on your SA.
