3. New/Used/Unreg : Any
4. Specs : Any
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : Any - Not much knowledge on this
7. Type : SUV or crossover. I love cars with higher driver seat
8. Remarks :
Hi all! Im not much of a car enthusiast, but lately cars with higher driver seat (SUV, MPV that sort) have attracted my attention.
At first I was thinking to get a new Haval H2 but when i learnt about the market reselling value of non-popular cars, it definitely changed my whole plan. Im hoping to get a reliable car that can last me a good 6 to 7 years before i would plan for a better luxury car (it doesnt hurt for a man to dream a little). My job doesnt require a lot of travelling, only daily drive from PJ to my office in KL city. However as I'm at management level now and slowly climbing the corporate ladder, it seems driving my 9 years Persona is not so appropriate anymore especially to company events and the occasional fetching of company biz partners.
I'm not looking for something luxurious (definitely not considering my current budget), but something presentable and reliable would do for now. Looking forward to all your inputs. Thank you very much!
am assuming you have no need for potential time bombs or more exp to maintain cars, so am gona ignore the euros in this case.
teana, accord and camry (you can afford one which is around 5 years old)
+ for a d segments, these are one of the more common d segment cars available in the market. (teana less so tho)
+ Well known to be reliable and the maintanance for these are not horrible since parts are easily obtainable and some parts are shared across their makes
- very common cars, they are not exactly special, being 5 years old, expect some wear and tear
- road tax might be a bit steep for he higher end larger cc ones
Suzuki Kizashi
+ very very pretty car
+ also pretty reliable
- 2.4l engine which is powerful but..... roadtax
- not such a common car here, parts should be no issue but it's something to think about
there's a whole array of suvs and crossovers to chose from but i know peanuts about them.... so cant help you there
