E. So if would like to get accurate reverse guidelines, need to get OEM reverse camera and install in Toyota? Does it need the OEM player also?
G. A good suggestion. Btw do you have any comment for coating? Does it help? Especially for used car.
*
E. Any player that accepts video input will do.

Cheapo reverse camera, need to adjust the angles manually, over time the thing gets loose and angles all kaput.
Also during installation they gotta drill some holes and sometimes the installation can be poor quality and ugly.

Factory fitted ones have no moving parts and are perfect fit and aligned for your car model.

WTF man , i did not realise before that the second hand prices for THESE CARS are AFFORDABLE. GEEZ its cheaper than a NEW VENTO. God damn, need to do research again. lets say 65-75k how much monthly do you reckon for a 7/9 years installment?
*
well, keep in mind, at the end of the day its a used car....... so well there will be some scratches, some wear and tear, that kind of thing.... you also dont get warranty anymore. Peace of mind is one of the most attractive things about buying a car new (also theres always that new car smell nod.gif) *also keep in mind that generally cars that cost more to run/maintain will sell for less on the 2nd hand market*

Is it better than vios, almera, kia picanto, perodua axia, honda city and honda jazz and myvi and axia and kia rio and kia picanto and hyundai i10

5% interest is too much. but its usually like that one. if im not mistaken to buy second hand car you gonna need to do personal loan rather than car loan. KOT la. im not sure..

E. no there is no need for the oem player. Any headunit with the appropriate resolution would do (cheapo cameras are really cheapo, the usual advertised 170 degree viewing angle is all lies~~)
G. oh wai i also wana know.... todei i found 2 more scratches (or more like chips) on my front bumper  bangwall.gif
what in the world are you replying to... omaigod......

E. Any advise where could I get more reliable reverse camera? Prefer those no need drill one...
I am worry after drill if change next camera will it be a problem.

G. Yes, I found if running on highway frequently, even new car will get lots of stone chip easily...
Thinking how to prevent in this case hmm.gif hmm.gif

Thanks bro. In this case will prefer factory fitted one... Because previous car is exactly like what you mentioned, after drill the work is not nice and need worry for future camera replacement.
Actually i am thinking to get a reliable camera with guideline, my previous guideline totally doesn't work.
So guideline is actually produce in camera not player, right?

Erm... so your usually repaint every few years? After repaint any impact?

dont wana drill hole then just get the oem fitting ones, u can find them online i tapped my camera on tongue.gif

problem with repainting is... well its not original..... some people dont like repainted cars cause u actually cant tell if the car has been involved in an accident unless you start stripping the car down. one of the things i watched out for when getting my car was overspray cause i wanted to know if the car had possibly been involved in an accident before. A car with the completely original coat kind of helps cause you are quite well assured that the condition of the car is as advertised

i personally dont mind repainting (and touching up) my own car cause i intend to keep it around for a while.... long as i know that my car is accident free, its good enough for me haha

There are plenty of older and good conti MPV's however it really depends on your mindset.
Some people don't mind buying conti knowing that it is cheap because RV sucks but the parts are still expensive.
Some people mind because they think doing replacement for parts like bushings and mounting already 1/3 the price paid for the used car.
However, if you find one in good condition and don't mind parts being more expensive than Japanese cars I can show you a few good options.
since it is not launched yet how do you know?
paul tan told you?

I modified abit from his post, looks like he was an insurance runner  laugh.gif
Okay, looking for a first car I know your mind is going wild trying to get the best deal possible.
Let me share with you something from experience.
Get a new/used car which is popular and cheap to maintain, e.g. Perodua Axia/Myvi (new) or Nissan Latio/X-Gear (used).
This is because it will help ease you unto car ownership.
It is not just about paying to the month that 5/7/9 years loan you took.
There is also schedule maintenance, fuel cost, regular upkeep, consumable parts replacement, roadtax/insurance, etc.
All this will catch you unawares if you stretch yourself too much for the monthly repayment just to get something which you may like.
Try holding out for something you like when you're abit more experience with cars.
