Hi all,
I recently just got transfer to Singapore as permanent employee and just signed the offer letter. My company provide me 2 weeks hotel as relocation assistance, but I'm thinking to find a room now if can, Can I rent a room using my offer letter or must I wait for my EP to be approve? Thanks in advance! |

Anyone here uses a Singaporean debit card at Malaysian petrol stations the past few days and had success with paying for petrol at the terminal without keying in PIN? My DBS debit card is not PIN-enabled apparently, tried using my ATM PIN and it failed. I had to resort to using the credit card instead. Called up the bank's customer service and they insisted that I don't have to use a PIN and when asked when they are going to embrace PIN and pay they had no idea.

Was wondering the samething also, if my SG CC can use in Malaysia after the pin requirement |

I am considering getting a job in Singapore(currently working in a startup), currently having 2 years of experience as a Swift developer. (No portfolio on Objective-C, no problem in reading but very little experience in writing).
May I ask what is the market rate for a 2 years experience in a startup and what companies I can check out? |

Why don't use your Msian debit/credit cardWhen using S'pore CC in M'sia the spread for exchange rate varies a lot. On top of that you'll incur 1% cross border charge. |

If you monitor the extras that you are paying, IMHO it's not really worth it even though banks throw in the 5X reward points or Cash Back. Unless it's business expenses then I'll spend anyhowQUOTE(vincentleong @ Feb 23 2017, 11:52 AM) Btw, anyone here still drive a Malaysian car with Malaysian driver's license to work in Singapore after working there for more than a year? This requirement applies to all citizens and permanent residents of Singapore and also foreigners who are residing in Singapore for more than twelve (12) months." "Foreigners A foreigner above 18 years of age and holding valid foreign licence may drive in Singapore for a period of not more than 12 months. A Singapore driving licence is required after 12 months." |
