blink.gif got example?

i've had it guys making 4k in myr and make between 3.5 to 4.2k sgd
i've had bankers making 3k in myr and make between 3-4k sgd
i've had engineers making 5k in myr and make between 4.5 - 5.5k sgd

and mind u, some made horizontal movement from malaysia to sg

but of course, not everyone get this amount but there are ppl that do
*
Omg, means if currently having 7k myr salary should demand 7k sgd? @_@

got scenario like if 7k myr but sg side offer 5k sgd, would u guys accept it?

btw, there's no info at 1st post, if someone can share which bank, mobile service provide and maybe credit card good at sg thn would be useful too?

Hahaha tats y I previously tell u all just come whenever u got the chance, gain experience in Malaysia for one or 2 yrs equals to nothing to SG company. Eventually u still need to lowball urself to lower salary making urself unhappy or compete with SG freshie

Especially in finance / business / banking

Else stay put in Malaysia and reaches really high position beforr jump here, my cousin with big 4 for few yrs in Penang before transfer to SG

Handsome pay
*
mind to maybe getting a better view of handsome pay rate? maybe an interval figure? smile.gif

Me too i moved out from mnc to smb and it was difficult to adjust especially in pace and work style but I couldn't think of going back to kl for any godly reason, rather smb in sg than mnc in kl
*
Sound like mostly everybody having the same fate of working for smb in sg yea.

those in sg mnc, report in. lol

Just so so, i got around 30% pay cut compare figure to figure.
9 years experience, maybe I am old ady, no company want to hire anymore  bangwall.gif
Exactly my thinking right now  sad.gif
my work scope being down scale to a level that I have to help singaporean aunty to re-connect printer, fix outlook profile  biggrin.gif
And they always shout - wa biang! why like that my email not coming in! wah sio!  cannot print la!
If my ex-colleague know this, they gonna laugh until their ass fall off  blush.gif
*
my situation also 30% pay cut if figure to figure.

QUOTE(someone_stupid @ Jan 25 2017, 01:27 PM)
exactly, keep looking out don't just stay put as well. one thing i realise is network more with the sgreans or even other expats it helps when u can make connections even if its not for urself, 1 thing will lead to another console.gif
*
if having work pass, are you allowed to jump? yes thn how it works? also if under work pass a year, would your boss do increment after confirmation?increment even after a year thn renew of your work visa?

QUOTE(Tariq_H @ Jan 25 2017, 03:46 PM)
Is earning 5k sgd, is good enough to consider to move to Singapore?
*
for me, I do a math as said my spending is 2k myr in malaysia, 2k sgd in singapore. if u earn 5k sgd at singapore , tax would take 300, u still got 2.7k left for saving, this a good number.

well, how's urs situation as i had given example.

but side factor maybe compare your MY job and SG job etc, you will only know after few weeks/months of working in the real situation.

You'll need to leave your company before getting the actual new pass, but the new company can start applying before you resign

great, thanks for the info.

Guys, is Circles.Life good?

I am not heavy user of data/ talk time/ sms... however I got 100 mobile expenses of allowance.

So Circles.Life No contract mobile plan seems my best option with iphone downpayment.

But I wonder how's the service of circles.life?

circles.life uses m1's network so theoretically it should be the same. so if you have any friends using m1 you can ask them how the network is.
*
Just found out that they got no physical shop, yet only can register the iPhone bundle only with DBS / UOB credit card.
If I just get my employment pass, no way for me to apply credit card upfront right? So I need to wait till the 4th month? @_@
or I can use UOB MY credit card as well? biggrin.gif

How does the plan look like?
Was thinking since you have 100 /month mobile allowance it might be better to get a contract one with phone, so you can split the phone charge to each month
*
Circles.Life package is $28, with iPhone 24 months down payment would make the total monthly bill close to $100. So best fit for me. Next question is they only accept DBS / UOB credit card, I only have UOB Malaysia Credit Card, will they accept. There is a event happening coming weekend, guess I will go and check it out.

Since bro deodorant mentioned it's using M1 then should be ok. No network loss except when train exiting tunnel from Levendar to Kallang mrt station

Thanks, great to hear about it. smile.gif

Do you mean 24 months contract at ~$100 /month with 0 downpayment?
Down payment refers to the amount you pay upfront (example $300 downpayment, and then $50 /month for 24 months)
*
Phone Price / 24 months = monthly payment. sry this not downpayment and downpayment is zero and tie to your credit card for the monthly payment. This week they got roadshow, you can go and check the info out.

Guys,

Would like to ask, if I fly from KLIA / Subang Airport to Singapore Changi airport?
When I reached Changi airport, can I buy free duty alcohol? Or would I passby 1 free duty shop?

In Malaysia, you have more choices of alcohol --> illegal non-duty paid one. I yet to find those in S'pore
*
Where to get this?

Also I guess there's limit of alcohol to bring in to Singapore? e.g. 1 L too?

Hi guys,

it is me again? Wonder which service provided in Malaysia hold the best international call charge if I use my MY number call back to Malaysia? (Charge lowest)

So far seems Digi charging RM 1.60 per mins. How about other service provider?

Thanks for sharing! Definitely will check it out.
Lol, I like the way u reverse calculate his saving! HAHA
I don't think Digi is the best for international roaming. I was charged for missed calls (Those missed calls went to voicemail and cost me around RM35), I decided to turn off roaming and only turn it on whenever I need it. Those are marketing calls shiet.
Back to your question, unless to landline otherwise why not just utilise LINE/Whatapps/Wechat voice/video calls? Its free anyway unlimited. If data is an issue then use Wifi at home for both sides.
*
Yes, I get fill miss called also it is charged to my acc. am like @_@... seriously?

but I do have bank acc and credit card with Malaysia bank.

So often they called me up, you know all this marketing calls etc.

Tats why I wonder which MY telco is charging in a lesser way for this. :/

QUOTE(crazy25kid @ Feb 28 2017, 10:32 AM)
do u really need the voicemail?
the first thing i do usually when i sign up with telco - disable voice mail
if i am not mistaken, voice mail will be charged when roaming because it gets routed from local to roaming then connected back to local (voice mail).
long long time ago, i remember it was 8bux per voice mail.
When I submitted mine long ago, it was photocopy (2 copies) for main applicant and original hardcopy to verify.
they requested from SPM onwards.
Anything missing, will need to sign a form stating why it is not provided.
*
ic, is the voicemail giving trouble, I shall ask digi to terminate it thn.

Regarding IDD call, it is js extra number that we used during call right? @_@
Seems IDD call cheaper?
