Need advice as well.

What other router that allows LAN4 port to be configure?
Currently using TL-WR1043ND router, but the wireless signal has become really bad with constant disconnection.  sad.gif
*
Using TL-WR1043ND too, no problem here

try flash a new firmware, or just direct flash to OpenWRT rclxs0.gif

Anyone knows whether the stock router Dlink Dir850 can be turn into a wifi repeater?
*
Yes, but recommend you do AP mode (using cable connection), because repeater mode very depends on the source wifi, if source wifi down, repeater also now.

That's a separate USB modem. So you put in your 4g sim card and use the ws880 to share that connection by wifi.

Not relevant for Unifi users.
*
Oh I have plenty of those modems and my previous TP Link router was bought for this purpose too. laugh.gif

I have a one year warranty that expires in September due to I upgraded to Adv 30.

Now I just hope my IPTV STB spoils soon so I can get a new one replaced! Still using the very first model from Huawei!

Recently i upgraded my Unifi to 50Mbps. Some how my desktop connected with Lan cable speed test can get 50Mbps+ upload speed. But when using wifi, speed hardly up to 20Mbps. If change Wireless router any cheap and good? 🤔

The Huawei WS880 router is super nice, I feel like buying one too for the sake of buying. laugh.gif
Then, I will have my Xiaomi nano router and TM's stock router which will go underutilized. hmm.gif

I got 3 units of the Huawei, so far so good. Now planning to set it up as NAS as well to free my Raspberry Pi for more interesting things.

Lots of customers getting the free upgrade, but contract should not be extended. Go complain.

No, it is a free upgrade which shouldn't extend the contract.
A lot of people on this thread already got it and contract is not refreshed.
