It's RM199. But all units has been sold out
Lazada also already sold out

But at RM399, it still beats the other models around this price range, just not as affordable.

It does indeed. Even the RM600 TP-Link Archer C9 couldn't compare to this laugh.gif

After 9 months of using Xiaomi Nano router as AP, I will bid farewell to it and replace it with Huawei WS880 tomorrow. biggrin.gif

Can I know if I can give the Nano router to my sister who is using Streamyx now and will change to UniFi soon once it is available at her area, can she use it as a repeater? Her house is a double-storey semi D and router is placed at upstairs. Sometimes the signal is not so strong at downstairs so I was thinking to suggest her to do something for her downstairs, can this be done? unsure.gif

Yes she can. It is relatively easy to set up as well.

Well, did you restart your router? Change to LAN also same?
If problem still persists, just call TM to reset your port.

Nice, I can't tell on my iPhone, that's why I always have separate SSIDs.

Maybe time to take a step back and see what's going on. Suggest you reset the router, configure from scratch with 2.4Ghz only (or 5GHz only) and test again. If still problem, maybe router hardware fault. Could be just a loose antenna cable. Happened to me before.

Tried changing back to the old DIR-615 and problem solved, the new one's probably busted. I'm going to reset it like you said but I'm not exactly sure how the process would go. Mainly worried about the HyppTV stuff.

edit: well that went quickly, though faster than before, still feels kind of slow compared to DIR-615.

The specs is actually more identical to ASUS RT-AC68U

There are only 4 differences between WS880 & RT-AC68U
The rest of them are the same

RAM:
RT-AC68U - 256MB
WS880 - 128MB

Antenna:
RT-AC68U - Upgradable external antennas
WS880 - Non-upgradeable internal antennas

USB Port:
RT-AC68U - 2 Ports (1xUSB 2.0 + 1xUSB 3.0)
WS880 - 1 Port (1xUSB 3.0)

Wireless Speed:
RT-AC68U - Up to 1900Mb/s
WS880 - Up to 1750Mb/s

But for the price of RM199, it's more than worth it
Better buy now before the price returns back to RM399

The dual core broadcom processor & huge coverage over standard UniFi routers (even beat some 3rd party routers) makes this router a huge bang for the buck

What brand router is this WS880 and where to get it for RM199.

Huawei WS880
Previously sold at Sri Computers for RM199 for stock clearance but all units has been sold
Original price were RM399

Some people said you can still buy it in Lazada for RM249, not sure if it's true or not
