I see, if someone file dispute against you, then you can faster annouce that you are outstation or go oversea and only explain it when u back after 1-2 weeks. got the tactic.

It seem like LYN is really conquer by HIGH RANKING MEMBER, probably alot member post some comment on this thread, but the bad comment will be deleted / invisible and leave the nice one on the thread.

This is what reality world is, "powerful" people always the winner, this is very unfair to normal citizen (LYN normal member).  Powerful people game !

Hello kitty, you are right. i saw ur comment before deleted / edit by HIGH RANKING MEMBER. This is what i want to mentioned, everything is goes unfair and invisible. Only good thing will appear in front of public eyes.
*
You got it partially correct. You have to know that LYN is run by moderators which are "humans". Not some robots who follow strict rules. What you said might be true that high ranking members have privilege and all. But every case is different. A lot of factors like that high ranking member's attitude and what he/she done for past membership and all. This all will be taken into account before mods putting whatever tag on him/her.

Say you can be 3 years member with 5000 posts but if you most of the time doesn't show mature attitude then of course the mods won't trust you with things like went overseas for holiday, right?

Therefore, mods are also human. They do their job based on the facts they have. So far, I can see they are mostly doing a good job. Some minor problem here and there but mostly good jobs.

18th January 2007 - Claimed that she would be away from 12th to 17th January 2007 but till this date she is still not back. I give her the benefit of doubt that she has extended her business trip.

from what i understand is that Clareen should be back on the 19th and not the 17th. sleep.gif

i have dealt with her and so far there has been no complications at all. i ask her for the best price available, then arrange the COD, and usually within 2-3 days, I will get my phone(s). we've met more than 5 times and what i can say is that she's very responsible.

TS, if you mention that she's not replying your PM, why don't you call her and ask about the status of your screen protector? not to be offensive, but it wouldn't kill you to call her handphone number which is clearly stated in her signature right? why not give her a ring and ask for an explaination?

perhaps it is just me.

I posted one last msg in Clareen's Garage Sale mobile page. strangely enough i can no longer access her thread. performed a search and her thread link is not accessible. Can someone verify it please.

I notified her dispute tag while browsing her thread, and punch in the last line without much thought.

So soon after I finished 4 pages reading of this dispute thread, I see the need to study Clareen's Term & Condition(I recalled she does have one) before commenting. to my suprise I end up with dead link.

My stand is: let's we hear both sides story before passing your very own conclusive statement.

Alienfighter and I bought a SE K800i (Midland set) from Clareen last month, just right after Christmas, I received a PM from Alienfighter yesterday, he asked me to check the battery of my SE K800i because he suspect that our battery might have been swapped with a non-ori one. Of course, we made comparisons with another fellow member, Everdying, he's using a Midland set as well and we also compared our BST-33 battery with this this thread here, BST-37 Ori & Non-Ori Discussion and we're puzzled that our battery looked not only different from Everdying's battery, our battery looked exactly like the AP battery as discussed in the BST-37 Ori & Non-Ori thread (compare with the pictures below and you'll know what I'm saying). My battery is exactly the same as Alienfighter so I'll just upload one set of pictures here from my set, if you wanna see the pictures that he has uploaded, please go to our Sony Ericsson K790i/K800i V5 Discussion Thread

The battery is of course brand new and it is not faulty but I guess we're a little upset if we bought a Midland set but we are getting an AP battery. I'm not saying or accusing Clareen of swapping the battery but would like her to clarify this matter with her supplier. I know you guys will ask us to take our battery to SE's service centre to verify whether the battery is genuine or not, we'll do so maybe around tomorrow or at our convenience as everybody is working but from the photos uploaded here, I guess it's pretty clear that something fishy is going on.

Alienfighter had other problems besides this but I guess I won't disclose that on behalf of him but I'll inform him that I've posted the battery thingy here. Well, I have bought three handphones from Clareen so far, all the deal went alright and smoothly, I just want your attention regarding this matter, that's all. If your supplier is found guilty for swapping original batteries with AP ones, then we can lodge a report with KPDN and have the supplier proscecuted as it's a serious offence.

Alright, here are the pictures of our BST-33 battery,

Next, here are the pictures from Everdying's Midland set.

I guess the pictures uploaded here are self-explanatory. I know Clareen went to Japan for her business trip but I hope that she'll give me, Alienfighter and other affected parties a satisfactory explanation. She should be back by now so I'll just wait for her to explain this.

Thanks for bringing this up sunauto. I checked my k800i just now, also midland set bought from Clareen. Indeed, the battery is AP like what you have posted up there. Would like an explanation as well.

You're welcome Sui Teng. I guess we have the right to raise this matter if we're doubtful over certain things. I just wanted an explanation on this matter as much as you do and I have another complaint, I bought a SE K610i (AP set) and SE K618i (AP set) as well from Clareen, both of the batteries, BST-37 looked like fakes, it has a squarish white sticker on the battery that resembles the Midland ori battery but no two holes on its side. Then, at the bottom, it resembles the Midland ori battery too but the centre segment has a visible marking but not on the ori battery so can I assume that the battery is fake as it neither resembles the ori or AP battery 100%. You can compare the photos yourself and I'm not making up this story. The photos of the BST-37 are taken from my set and the other two photos are taken from the BST-37 discussion thread, I need to attach the photos here so that everyone understands what I'm trying to say here because it's hard to visualize something by reading the text alone. sweat.gif

I hope Clareen can verify this matter as well because the battery looks fake to me. Even if it is an AP set, I do expect the battery to be the original AP one.

Nope no sign of Clareen yet, her Friendster account also offline so maybe still in Japan I guess but I definitely need some answers. For the first battery, BST-33 might be a Midland battery or might be a fake battery, okay fine ...... but the BST-37 doesn't look like a Midland or AP battery so it can only mean one thing, it's a fake. mad.gif

I guess Clareen has a lot of things to settle here but for my case, she'll need to sort it out with her supplier and for your info, the K610i I bought from her is from Comsat so anyone buying AP handphones from Comsat, please check your battery, if it's a fake, maybe we can lodge a complain together with KPDN, they'll be more than interested to investigate our complain.

Alienfighter, you forgot to mention one thing, your phone's IMEI doesn't match with the one on the box. That's also an important issue because you bought a Midland set and by right, everything should match exactly.
