Was stressing out about it because I applied for RM33k to pay my PBB and HLB outstanding, which are due 22 and 23. I paid the minimum amounts already, but was worried about subsequent interest charges, especially PBB which includes BT balances (which do not have interest free period).

Now just have to monitor my accounts carefully and hope funds get transferred in next few days.

14 Sep 4:15pm email form to PBB CS
14 Sep 8:38pm email reply from PBB CS stating already fwd my application to relevant dept
15 Sep amount debited to my PBB card
19 Sep receive SMS stating BT amount debited
Pending : amount to be credited to other bank.

Hi guys, need some opinion(s) here,

I am thinking of doing 2 balance transfer as follows:

CIMB (Existing, ~RM6000) -> Maybank (Existing, ~RM5000) -> Aeon (New)

which means the new card Aeon will be transferred RM5000 and Maybank will be transferred RM6000.

is it possible to do 2 balance transfer at once? or any other methods?

Yes, you can do 2 balance transfers at once (with different banks), subject to meeting their credit limit and other conditions.

As each bank is independent, your balance transfers are mutually exclusive.

To maximise efficiency, just time your BT applications carefully and ensure that there is sufficient time for the BT funds to be received.

is it advisable to have 4 credit cards but only 2 is utilized, while the other 2 is only for emergency and the BT?

I read somewhere that it is good for your credit score (given that it has a good paying record).

Sent in email to aeon for BT yday night, today morning received verification call, then sms approval by noon. That was really fast!

Did anyone noticed under the card issuer listing, there is no Aeon? I'm referring to Maybank2u online application.

perhaps due to Aeon is not a bank, but just a financial institution (FI).

you can, actually.

screenshot the summary page, showing current outstanding/balance.

ensure your cc number (or last 4 digit) and name is visible in your screenshot.

I even capture the URL address bar, just to prove the page is from legit site


for me, i'm currently trying to BT current statement (due in few more days! ) + this month's unbilled outstanding. so far SMS told me approved. yet to 'see' the fund transferred.

Which mean need la? I thought if don't need i can just put a higher amount to be BT-ed. Sorry another question, can Maybank BT transfer to AEON since someone mention Aeon is not a bank

if you want to BT to Aeon, fill in form and submit via email lor.

Owh..can bt unbilled also?thought statement amount only..wasted...still, can we do another bt later on after this one approved?

I mention IF YES, can I show outstanding as I know some banks do not require statement. Not sure Maybank is so

Best option : Without statement, just fill up the amount I want (most BT amount transferred)
2nd option : Show outstanding balance (more)
Last option : Show statement amount (less)

of course can keep BT-ing until reaches 80% (not sure what's the limit for MBB, but i target it as 80%) of available credit limit of your mbb card.

i'm doing option 2 cuz i got large purchases (unbilled) after this month's statement (billed). so, i combined both amount, and requested from MBB.
