QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 15 2016, 03:35 PM) I'm still very grateful for the promotion . I'll be paying RM19.80 GST for a BT of RM33k. Even my husband not so generous to settle RM33k for me one shot. Haha. Why? Ur hubby a billionaire or something? Ofcourse la bank got more money than most of us.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 26 2016, 06:26 PM) I pay school fees (got 3% discount) and insurance upfront annually to save costs. Extra cash from BTs will always go into FD (monthly). I keep a spreadsheet to make sure I can cover the monthly repayments. After all these payments, of course I'm extremely poor! Thats not really saving costs.. i cant imagine the cashflow management on that. It would stress me out so much and make me grow old.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 28 2016, 09:40 PM) I almost forgot about that when I was doing my MBB BT. Nearly used my Visa Signature and even filled out the form. Then suddenly remembered my annual fee due in Feb and I really don't want to pay it. So last minute changed to my free for life and useless M2Mastercard that sits in a drawer. Had to dig it out just to do the BT. Easier to monitor and pay instalments using a dormant card. That card shares credit with the amex though..

Alot of those cards have annual fees.. i wonder whether your interest will cover the costs of those annual fees.

QUOTE(skylee18 @ Dec 7 2016, 01:28 PM) Thanks, i am trying it now...loll if yes then it would be the best loan ever The more people using this is only just gonna cause banks to close up this glaring loophole..

Ambank is a great card. Free for life, high limits, low barrier for their vs and air mile cards.
Would recommend.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 3 2017, 12:04 AM) Thanks, but not yet. 10 more days (I hope), but hospital bills going to hit in Jan. Ahhh!! Praying for a natural birth which is so much cheaper. Probably will end up emergency c-sect and cost you a bomb. Best of luck.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 12 2017, 02:42 AM) Choose Citibank if using M2U or use manual form and email to Maybank. I used manual form though. same, easy to use manual form and they waiver the 3% fee instantly. good timing for BT too. I just paid MAS return flights to melbourne - kul for 3 people at 3.5k rm. cheap and now with BT, doubly good! This post has been edited by the99percent1: Mar 13 2017, 01:44 PM

QUOTE(celaw @ Mar 13 2017, 06:40 PM) Just received following sms for BT application through email. RM0.00 MBB:We regret to inform that we are unable to accede to your Balance Transfer appl. Thank you for your interest shown. Rejected due to over payment I suspect. So conclusion cannot do BT when we have overpayment in CC. the number one reason is insufficient credit limit. if you are applying for more than 80% credit utilisation, you are in reject territory.
