Planning to apply soon. only for new to bank customers. Good thing is for ambank, don't need to fill up any forms, just call their CS and they'll sort it out after getting the necesary details.

I intend to do so too but I've about 5.4k from another ccard to transfer, say if I want to transfer another 15k for FD, which bank is the easiest to cash out the BT money?

Anybody did BT from Ambank before? I called in last friday to apply and was told by the CR that their BT officer will call me within a few days and it'll take 14 working days for the funds to be transferred over to the other card. Oh man, I should have applied earlier, my OCBC card payment due date is on 1st Aug.

Will call them again tmrw and see how. If cant then I'll probably have to pay first myself.

Any idea if OCBC allows excess payment to the ccard to be cashed out?

Just called OCBC. They can transfer via GIRO to other bank if u don't have a OCBC bank account provided all your outstanding balance in the credit card has been settled.

Why not u give the bank a call if u've their credit card? easier than asking here.

Requested for Ambank BT on 22nd, money in by 28th. That was fast, despite calling in them another time to remind that I need the funds hy 1st august.

I'm impressed by their service, but no verification call or whatsoever as told by the CR over the phone.

Sent in email to aeon for BT yday night, today morning received verification call, then sms approval by noon. That was really fast!

Just wondering if MBB accepts credit card account page print screen instead of statement. Instead of using the M2U BT application which charges up front and reverse the charge, I prefer not being charged in the first place.

Usually how long does it take for Maybank to approve BT over email? Sent it email on saturday, received email reply from CS that my request has been forwarded to the respective dept.

Today is monday hence I asked, for Aeon their reply is 1-2 working days. Appreciate your reply but everyone knows sunday is a public holiday. Can just minus out that in your reply, your sacrasm is not working for me.

That was fast. should have used M2U instead.

Today 2nd day but still no news. Will wait for tmrw then call them again. Didnt try m2u as prefer not to be charged upfront

Received SMS that they were unable to accede to my balance transfer application. Called CS and was told that there is no issue and my application is supposed to be approved, suggested me to try applying again through M2U.

*update* Online application was approved in principle but subsequently received same sms that unable to proceed. I think it's because it's a supp PBVS card, despite have a separate statement maybank cannot proceed?
