what is the turnaround time for MBB BT via email nowadays?
*
Don't know about email.
BT done via M2U ...instant approval in principle. 30 -90 mins formal approval vis sms n email.money in 1- 3 days from approval

QUOTE(sendohz @ Oct 21 2017, 08:53 AM)
Alright now i'm one of those that agreed with UOB 6mths 0%charge
I'm reading through the thread again and from what i understand i need to pay 5% each month

This 5% due date is according to statement due date or the BT approval due date?

Because the total balance for whole 6 months need to be settle within 6 months from BT approval date shown in statement.

I called CS re same Q. After conversation. ..i m still confused. I will not risk it...will pay using approval date which is earlier date.

I'm intend to apply for BT via M2U for my Aeon Big Visa CC. Just wondering is it possible to apply before the latest statement comes out?

For example, my statement date is 1st Nov, but my current usage recorded currently is RM2k, can I apply BT for RM2k now?

12 months installment is fixed amount, but that installment amount is considered a retail charge in your CC, so you are still bound to the overall CC T&C.

// The balance transfer amount is treated as a retail transaction. In accordance to the Card Agreement, if the instalment amount (together with all the specified interest/management fee/finance charge/fee chargeable herein) is not paid in full on the payment due date, the prevailing card interest/management fee rate/fee/finance charge or such rate as prescribed by the Bank from time to time at the Bank’s absolute discretion will be chargeable on the outstanding amount (together with all the specified interest/finance charge/fee/management charge/fee chargeable herein) remaining unpaid on the due date from the posting date until the full payment is credited into the Cardmember’s account. //

that depends.

you purposely signup ANY NEW card just for 0% BT? if this is the case, no point keeping.

smart ones would apply NEW card with BENEFITS that offers 0% BT as well! this way, you can enjoy 0% BT while still getting benefits (e.g. PPL or cashback) for keeping/using the card, while or after BT ended.

I just found out,
MANY BANKS offer 0% BT for new customer,
but this offer only 1 time, after the 0%BT ended , new BT got interest apply.

With this, for BT hunters, need to constantly cut OLD cards+ wait 6 months to qualify as new customers !

Any good advice to continue enjoy 0% BT ? Thanks

Was told by PB CS that they no longer accept BT for Islamic card, meaning if you hold their Islamic card, they won't approve the BT you applied. So sad, that's the only card I have with PB thus far, no 0% BT for me ...😢

Thanks !

Keeping MBB/PBB/AEON for the forever 0%BT .

Then, another question pop up my mind,

Lets say each banks above, u keep ONE CARD each with 20K CL .
total BT can play with = RM60K .....

In order to increase the CL,
can we increase the number of cards?
Eg , apply another 1--2 cards are MBB , etc ?

Another questions i still confuse,
some expert mentioned they do revolving BT with these 3 banks, so they dun have to fork out any $.
But lets say u do RM12K each for 6 months , installment RM2K/month
Month1 , MBB owe RM12K
Month2 , PBB owe RM12k , RM2K go to MBB
Month3, AEON owe RM12K, RM2K go to MBB //RM2K go to PBB
Month4, No more banks, but still need to pay RM2K for each MBB/PBB/AEON ????? I'm lost at month4 onwards .....
could any expert advise ???
