PBB is fine, as long as your CC has sufficient balance.

For Aeon, they will only allow you to perform another BT once your previous BT's final installment is posted to your CC.

Hi, I'm new to balance transfer & need some help here
I'm planning to settle my ptptn loan with credit card (to enjoy 20% discount) & apply MBB balance transfer for 12 months by next year.
I tried to apply BT via M2U just now but my application was rejected. My MBB credit limit is 7k & the amount I applied was 2k only.
Can I know why I was rejected?

My ptptn loan is around 20k & I have cash in hand (but not in MBB). Prefer to pay back the loan by installment & enjoy 20% discount at the same time.

Yes. That's my first credit card & my CL limits never increase. The CL was set 2 years ago...

i tried applied to increase, rejected eventually. They wanted me walk in to a branch a speak to a branch manager.

For example I am having outstanding with HLB credit card, can i BT it to my Citibank credit card? Or BT only can take place when I apply new credit card with another bank?

Can, provided the bank has BT facility which most have anyway. Try to find those with 0% interest.

Thanks for your prompt response. Which mean people always take benefit for having 2 diff credit card from diff bank issuer. So when they swipe, they will use the another bank to do the BT.

You can say so but we only BT from banks which give 0% BT like MBB, PBB and AEON.

Sadly to say I am having HLB and Citibank recently got approved. Hopefully Citibank give me higher credit limit, so that I can purchase iPhone with 0% installment.
