Maybank actually approved my previous BT which I thought was rejected and I ended up with 2 same BT to the same PB cards. Tried calling PB but CS refused to transfer the extra funds into saving account, stating that it is not their practice to transfer excess funds in credit card to savings account.

u mean to apply Balance Transfer? I just done it by calling the number stated.
Only phone verification, no need statement.
Just telling credit card number that to be transferred.

Just in case the BT from maybank to SCB ,
and SCB doesnt allow the excess $ in cc to CASA ,

our option are below:
1. cut the card, and the excess go to SCB-CASA
2. SCB repatriate the exesss fund in cc back to MBB.
*In this case, can we ask MBB to withdraw the excess $ in credit card to CASA ?

write to SCB last friday to tranfer to CASA,
called this morning, was told , this is NOT POSISBLE ,and can only sent back to source

and need prove that this is from MBB .

would CUT SCB cc promtly .

just to note. for mbb any over payment that you want to transfer to your saving acc, if above rm10k will need special approval

so try to limit it to below 10k

And the Grace called me again saying that had been process, and pending approval.

Not really, I just applied one recently, got one card is not above rm1000, but total two amount above rm1000 I can do the BT no problem.

Anyone tried hsbc balance transfer for new card member before? Apparently the CS told me that i dont have to pay by instalment but pay any amount for my BT. But the catch is at least the minimum value which is rm500. E.g. If i BT rm12k for 12 months, i only have to pay minimum payment rm500 per month. But before the end of the 12 month just pay off the balance.

me too the same. sum above rm 1000, but for 1 card not exceed 1000. Approved too.

I did before no issue... Maybe the amount i transfer is not significant

Did u apply thru M2U or email? My email application subsequently got approved causing me to have 2 same BT. Just emailed them for a full settlement yday.
