Next month getting free C1200.

Wait till my C9 kaput first. No point buying new router when the existing still working. If very slow on Wi-Fi means I will downgrade to 100Mbps or upgrade to AC5400X. Hehe.

Thanks.

Hello all,
Great to see TIME has been keeping itself ahead of all competitors!
Now I have a bit of a headache with Asus router.
Since it has been upgraded to 500Mbps for free, my Asus old router can't keep up to speed in wireless N, hitting 150Mbps only, while LAN cable hitting 500Mbps without issues.

Any Asus router to recommend to utilise this speed new speed hike? Budget is around RM500.
Thank you!

Let's hope we don't have to wait close to 1 year again for this round of speed / price "upgrade". By end of the year as per MCMC???

Yes, you're right with the distance.

How long have you been using this TIME stock router?
Cannot reset?
If planning to get new router. You can order from Self Care.
Cheaper than AC1900 which I bought last time.

The problem comes from Astro. Do pressure and complaint to Astro and pester them to negotiate with TIME to settle this ASAP.

Astro just giving standard reply in Facebook. Negotiating with partner blah blah blah . Similar like last time. Hopefully faster this time round with directive from MCMC.

The broadband portion should now be less than rm148 for 100mbps since both maxis and time have both reduced price

But mind you the router is from China so basically there is no local warranty, you have to take your risk since the price is almost 40% cheaper than local unit.

Your C1200 still there. Didn't throw yet?

Maybe you can find some ways to recover the router.

Thanks.
