Desktop next to router:

So, with a good device, your speed could double even if in further location. Hitting download over 400Mbps still impossible for me, but upload is near the 500Mbps maximum.

Too lazy with the channels settings, i just leave it at auto. Test with a Wifi scanner app. Sometimes got clash, sometimes not. Don't care already. LOL.

Yup, i re-configure all the settings and successfully connected to internet, will keep it as backup router in case my primary router breakdown.

Or sell off the existing and buy more higher end router hehe.

But i heard the router isn't 'free for life', once if you terminated the service you have to return it to Time, otherwise Time will charge you certain amount.

Oh really? I heard other said that TIME won't take after contract expires.
I don't think will take back existing. Only take back ONU if I'm not mistaken.

If nothing happened i believe i will still stick to 24mths contract, but anyhow i don't think the router has any good resell value since it is so common and the original price isn't expensive.
