Today i received an email asking me to change from my current Unifi 30mbps to Time 100 mpbs (Time will apparently bear the penalty charge due to early cancellation of the Unifi contract).

In this case if I switch over to Time, what happens to the home land line number (as it is with the UniFi line)? Do I get to keep it or must I change number?
Also how fast is 100 mpbs i.e. downloading a 1gb file?

Excuse my poor knowledge. As i see TIME webpage. Its stated RM168 for only 10Mbps and not 100Mbps.
It also state 15 boost hours for 100Mbps boost speed. What does that mean?
Is it the first 15 hours of the month, you will get 100Mbps and thereafter 10Mbps? Many thanks for your clarification.

What will happen if after 1 year i move to another place that does not have TIME coverage? Must pay termination fee?

I cant connect since this morning, anyone got idea whats the reason? its shows 'disconnected' in the router page.

i just sent TIME email, no reply yet. I'll try calling them tomorrow.

I not provided with PPPOE login/pass. tried reconnect with DHCP with no success.

not sure whats ONU LOS but none light are blinking except on usual LAN1, nothing unusual.

did restarting, even resetting the router same problem.

Guys just want to ask a question here. i've just got the 300Mbit package. What i've noticed is that with a wired connection i'm getting good speeds i.e 299-310 Mbit for Up and download speed.

But I've just purchased a ASUS AC1900 adapter and  what i've seen is that it's connected to the router at above 680+ Mbit. But when i perform a speed test using wireless, I'm getting about 200Mbit.

I think it's the Dlink 850L router which is not able to perform efficiently and is thinking of switching to another router.

Question is : Can i go buy a new router off the shelf and plug it into optical terminal to get it working? Was thinking of using some other alternative other than the one supplied.  ie. Asus RT-AC3200

Is there any particular points to look out for when i get a router?. Does it need to have some unifi compatible sticker on it?

Is netgear orbi compatible with time fibre / the existing DIR-850L? I have problem getting wifi signal in my room, am thinking of getting netgear orbi.
