if there's FUP, what will be the amount ?

if let say 3gb, so whats the difference between the rm88 package ??

this is shit la...maxis latest moves really show they take a step backward...

they wanna increase customer but dont want to expand bandwidth to their network... shakehead.gif

but i really hope that existing user with 99 unlimited package only have FUP on paper only...... sweat.gif

but in maxis 3g section still showing that 99 unlimited is available

The RM88 package will pay more for any additional data you used.
RM0.005 sen/kb to be precise.

IF there is FUP in the old RM99 plan, I guess speed will only be throttled.

If my RS is not working with my Maxis 3G in my area, do you think I could call CS and complain? Will they even do anything about it?

Of course you could. There is nothing *technically* wrong with RS...its like any other http websites. The only ones you can't report is p2p/bittorent.

QUOTE
Hello,

we are monitoring our system constantly and we do not have other customers
with the same problems using our service.

Please check all your network elements and configurations. It happens often
that the problems you experience are only results of filters, proxy server,
router or firewall rules on your or on your internet service provider side.

Probably the reason for your problem is the connection between your computer
and the Internet Service Provider.
We are not able to troubleshoot other networks. We can fix problems only in
our network. The servers are up and
running and the internet connections have enough capacity to handle the
requests.
Please contact your provider to let him check if the path to RapidShare.com is
working.
Keep in mind that if you can reach us via ICMP (ping), then you should also be
able to reach us on port 80 (http://). If it is not so, there must be
somewhere a filter. We have not applied any filter on HTTP (Port 80).

It is also possible that we block your IP-address because denial of service
attacks from your IP-address.
If you have contacted your provider and they could not solve the problem,
please let us know your IP-address so that we can check if it is blocked.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

Jeremy

I'm just wondering if CS would even bother to do anything because other websites are fine.

Well, they might not do anything but if we go to the Maxis Centre and start making noise, they will definitely do something...I'm heading over to the centre to make a complaint....

Added on August 29, 2009, 1:38 pmBtw, anyone else using the 99 package cannot download from RS?

^^
Remote upload RS files to Netload via Rs2Rs.com

Its like this:
RS > Rs2Rs > Netload

I remote upload through Rs2Rs to prevent my RS account from being banned for using multiple IP.

It's slow, but a working workaround nonetheless....

P.S. I use Netload because I have a premium account. If you have a MU premium account, then you should remote upload to MU wink.gif

-----------------------

Another less complicated workaround is getting a VPN...

tbh, remote uploading takes time tongue.gif

Right now I'm surveying some local and international VPN.....

----------------------

Anyone here has friends in Singapore experiencing problems download from RS? From what I know, Maxis internet connections goes through Singapore....

It's the same "blab" for every other isp...but for the 99 plan, I guess the "Excessive Usage" clause doesn't apply tongue.gif
