QUOTE(beanbeanchong @ Jul 13 2009, 05:19 PM) i wonder is it worth to subscribe maxis mobile internet. My area only have maxis and celcom 3G/HSPDA. Planning to terminate my streamyx since not always at home. after i read this forum, unlimited and no fair usage policy seem good. yeah. don't forget about disconnection and awful latency. |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Jul 14 2009, 08:52 AM) i'd scheduled a batch command to disconnect and reconnect every 30 minutes now. since May, i noticed that after 1 hour of connection, speed and latency will deteriorate |

QUOTE(lookig4room @ Aug 2 2009, 12:50 PM) Bad news: The CS I spoke with today just said that maxis 3G RM 99 unlimited that has no FUP (capping) has already been phased out as of 31st July 2009. No more new subscriber to the package. Existing subscribers can still use their service though. As a substitute to the RM 99 package, they have rolled out a new RM 88 package that has got 3 GB FUP. yes!! yes!! yes!! that's 1 news i've been waiting since april |

I have use both of my phone and modem to connect to the internet thru Maxis 3G. Both have had same amount of disconnection, same speed and even same spam sms. Thanks. |
