I still got 1 year contract with maxis, if wanna cancel how much ar guys? I'm sick of paying 68-78 for only 1GB plan...

ask Maxis how much is the termination fee... usually based on phone that u registered with the plam

digi I can only comment in town centers. it's reasonable.

With all the fuss goin on, im still with Maxis tho. I've found out Maxis are quite tricky with the new MaxisONE EM plan. I've changed from 5GB SurfMore to MaxisONE 1GB + Free 4GB MaxisONE Promo plan (quoted from the SMS received)

So, there, the tricky part was "MaxisONE 1GB" and then there's this "Free 4GB MaxisONE Promo" attached

You get what you pay for I guess. Coverage is key.

The "burung-hantu" comes with 1,024gb of data for the off peak period (1AM-7AM)

I am on Digi & recently changed my plan.. Paying only RM45 for free 50mins air time & 3GB data. Best of all, can add 3 F&F number for unlimited calls.

Question Is their coverage better than other telco by 100%? So they charge 100% higher than other telco?
Btw i am both maxis and celcom users, no different in coverage. Sometime indoor celcom got signal, maxis no signal. Mainly in klang valley.

Even if their coverage is better, I cannot fathom why would their Marketing department come up with such a blatantly discriminatory plan benefitting East Malaysia residents only and at the same time invite the wrath of West Malaysia customers, which makes up a huge percentage of their subscription base. It's a wonder the marketing department of U Mobile, DiGi and Celcom haven't seized the opportunity to troll maxis. Maybe they are sleeping too.

That said, I just got myself a prepaid Celcom sim. Gonna start evaluating their network for the future.

There is no perfect coverage for each Telco in all locations

I also worrying about that leh
because i see over pages of replies
saying that , mostly celcom only got 3G coverage not till 4G

for years, east malaysians have always had to pay more for normal goods. (realize that most things have a west malaysia and an east malaysia price?)

now that east malaysia has a better deal, suddenly everyone's having an outcry.
