When the one you call is customer service basically they do not have the authority or power to promise you anything and i believe it is also not in their job scope , no matter how many times ts ask them, i do not think they can do anything for u except help u to request from management. Best way is , be a smart consumer, just switch to other telcos if u think ur current one is not good. They will never call and offer u with a cheaper plan. U call and demand but as long as u still choose to stick with them, i mean like no real action to quit, they still will not entertain u.. Anyway, still dunno why ppl so loyal to maxis. When all the telco comes up with a more competitive plan, only maxis do nothing but still its your choice.

I also have been with Maxis for more than ten years. Such a loyal customer never make noise, and always loyal but get no reward and Maxis never appreciated.
I disappointed Maxis didn't take any action to protect its loyal customers before they terminated the contract.

I just called maxis, currently I m on maxis 128 monthly with 3gb data. If I terminate now there is be a penalty charges of rm400.
They said currently they don't have any better offer and ask me to wait until 7th April. If I want to terminate now I need to walk in to Maxis center and settle the penalty first. Wait for another 24 hours then only I can apply to other telco. Is this their normal procedure?

It's not TS alone got this pathetic response from your maxshit center. Although I not with maxshit anymore, I do have friends told me the same bs from your call center when they successfully port out. I want to ask. why your company doing tis. discriminating your current customers. those port out get way better offer than those stay loyal. also what's up with the East Malaysia plan. why discriminating those in West Malaysia

Im sure the maxis management is aware of this thread and the situation at hand now. They better do something coz a lot of people are unhappy about being taken for a ride paying extras and gettin different treatments, me included. Gonna check how much i need to pay for penalty to port out under contract, as I cant tahan knowing the fact I can get the same GB and calls for a hundred ringgit less every month.
