QUOTE(JayChouYEE @ Apr 2 2016, 05:12 PM) This maybe the new plan will release. RM 98 5GB DATA+Unlimited Call & SMS RM128 7GB DATA+Unlimited Call & SMS RM158 10GB DATA+Unlimited Call & SMS RM188 15GB DATA+Unlimited Call & SMS I am in 128 plan with 3GB data. Got an sms offer to upgrade to 10GB data with additional RM30. I think your source is right on but they might not finalised their plan yet. Called back Maxis to verify the offer but they claimed no such offer. Perhaps to selected customers who are not on any contract. Nevermind I just wait until my contract finish.

QUOTE(firstsight @ Apr 3 2016, 12:05 AM) been a digi user 10 years then maxis 1 year then Umobile 2 years. maxis always has the best customer service, but problem is internet too slow, too expensive, after i change to Umobile, i have no more worry abt anything, been using the 5G data package @ RM80or90/month if not remember wrong then they auto upgrade me to P70 7GB data package n then recently i got a msg abt my data is being upgrade to 15GB/month, n unlimited voice call....all is just RM70 only, n my subline @ RM10/month can share all my data.... so why maxis? yup i hv had the same experience with uMobile..... been with them as a prepaid broadband customer since 2012/13 then upgraded to their p70 hero plan last year when they started with 4.5 + 2.5 gb of data. they auto upgraded me to 7gb no limits high speed broadband after 2-3 months and recently last month they again auto upgraded me to 15gb.👏🍻 and all contract free packages. no telco is perfect but i didnt even need to ask uMobile for better treatment. subscribers should be aware and always look out for their own rights. its terrible that maxis treats its loyal customers of over 20 yrs like that. please teach the arrogant maxis management and board many hard lessons when it comes to OUR MONEY.

QUOTE(tky1993 @ Apr 3 2016, 03:03 AM) Why any small business can out-market any big business using digital?? Hahaha how ironic. Just look how Maxis is going the downfall leading by a bunch of idiots. Head of marketing kononya. event headline punya English pun kantoiiiiii bonggol. 😂😂😂😂 using digital what......???? back in 2011/12 i used to be on the team (in an outsourced agency) that monitored their social media sentiments and collected business intel to keep them informed. my team specifically alerted them on a daily and monthly basis when such matters were red-lining. looks like they havent learned much from the days of billshock syndrome. QUOTE(stevenX @ Apr 2 2016, 09:25 PM) I took the offer, but after rethink .. who know someday maxis just pretend to be forget to give the free extra 4gb to us .. and or like my free spotify premium been take out suddenly and wanna charge me rm9.99/month ... lucky i cancel subcription on time .. To those who said other operator is not good might need to rethink. Mostly people now got 2 sim, somemore now flagship device many dual sim too .. u can always buy a prepaid and try their network first .. Mnp is easy .. any shopping mall sure have telco shop for u to walk in That's exactly what I ask when they offer me this. I insist he send me an email and he did with an excel in the workings. Then I ask where in the contract will state that this is free for life or discount free for life he said don't have but maxis will give it (it's like trust maxis they will honor what he said). I just loled myself.

I was a maxis user, for my case, on my phone i see the H+ or 4G logo a lot but data is barely usable in my area. So naturally the phone keeps reloading shyt and the data burns away even faster from all the reloading. Im not living in some forest, Im in PENANG (Bukit Mertajam and Butterworth area). Eventually it felt like Maxis is doing it on purpose to make me upgrade to a more expensive plan.
I got fed up and changed to Celcom. No more such garbage and i actually get more value for my money.

O... I got that offer too. Friday morning went to Celcom apply port line to rm80 (10gb+unlimited call).
Maxis called at evening to offer rm68. (5gb+unlimited call). I ok with it.
Then I say wanted to change for my family too. Because they also porting to Celcom soon. The customer service ask me to wait. Because the rm68 package now only offer to customer whom handle by some office. Now their shipping brochure, banner, marketing material to other stores. So The official announcement will be end of this month. Then can go any store to change.

I have been 10 years with maxis and I already ported to celcom.. the line is better. My office is in the middle of the building, the line used to be very poor, I always thought this is because of my office location. However, after switching to celcom, surprisingly it is better, I can even receive call in elevator. Never try never know. No harm to try celcom since it gives fair offer and no contract.
