I think maybe will have some rebate like RM10 per month like that.because some of the people get 118 7gb
and I quite sure some of the people will port back after few month from other telco because some of them want speed and quality coverage.

Ooh and everything with unlimited calls and sms of course, but to kesian maxis a bit probably the RM48 with limited to 500 minutes calls/sms.  i can hardly finish 10 sms with my celcom 38!!

In today's economy ppl try to cut some spending in any way they can

Ur friend is lucky .. rm68 5gb ..

Maxis only offer me rm78 5gb .. some more take away my free spotify premium ..

Its rm98 1gb plan ... but give discount rm20 , and 4gb as free monthly. Thing is you only start ur month with 1gb, another 4gb is give later as free.

Thanks ts for sharing. Now we know maxis is playing with their loyal customer. Different people offer differently. In the case i feel that they will just fuk up at the end. Because everyone will tell everyone they got offer from maxis, and when everyone found out that their plan is different .. GG ..

Had you get back ur rm1200 deposit ?

I'm so damn pissed when I heard this. I'm loyal Maxis customer for almost 10 Years with 5 Numbers under my IC and paying much more than my friend I didn't get such offer from Maxis and once I call them I questioned them about the plan that my friend received upon her termination and change to Celcom.

Maxis Customer Service buat bodoh there say they don't know anything about that and they can do nothing and can't give me the same offer. Maxis continue says that my friend is the selected customer group for this good plan. So I questioned again how do you guys do selection? If in terms of years staying with Maxis I'm more than her, if saying usage per month I also much more than my friend. So on what basis they select their customer that can entitled to such cheap plan? Is it base on customer group who wanted to terminate the service so they are selected and I need to perform termination on Maxis and change to Celcom only they can offer me? The CS keep saying no no no.. and continue say they can't do and dont know what can they do.

This is my main line plan

RM 188 monthly + 7GB Data + Unlimited Calls & Sms + No Contract

VS

RM 68 monthly + 7GB Data + Unlimited Calls & SMS + No Contract (My friend plan)

This stupid Maxis is treating their loyal customer like "Water Fish" / Idiot and I decided to quit this stupid Telco and also posting this so anyone is still using Maxis out there can read on how Maxis treating us like "Water Fish"

And there is special promotion for Sabah & Sarawak Maxis customer with RM30 discount on plan / 2GB extra data I don't know which one is true but both are telling by Maxis Customer Service. So if West Malaysian you felt unfair you can try to call Maxis and ask is this some kind of not so 1 Malaysia? Why East Malaysian getting better offer than West Malaysian.

No wonder Maxis boss can always remain at Malaysia top 3 richest man because there is too much "Water Fish" like us give donation to him.

called maxis again about balance to pay and check bill before i port out properly and I found that
my account still have a deposit of MYR 1200 inside.. I totally forgot about this deposit that I paid
many years ago. So I asked Maxis now all your plans don't require deposit anymore and why aren't
you refunding the old deposit to us? Maxis CS say you can only get refund up on your termination
of service with Maxis. I was like WTF now all no deposit but you still holding my money and don't want
to pay me back and say only terminate can refund deposit. FCK!
Update Again..

Just now went to settle my latest bill with Maxis so I can port out to Celcom and I heard the counter beside me porting in a digi customer and offering the RM68 plan with 5GB + Unlimited calls & sms. So I ask that counter CS what is with this RM68 plan then he say that this is the latest plan that Maxis going to launch tomorrow. Then I don't give shit about what he saying and left after I did my payment.

here is my new Celcom Sim Card! I don't give a shit if they really launch the RM68 plan tomorrow because they treated their customer like idiot and i don't feel like staying with this Maxis anymore.

Maxis! Give me my fucking deposit worth of RM1200.00 because you told me there is no way I can get back unless I terminate the service.
Update 11/03/16

Maxis "Loyalty Department" CS just called and offer me the RM68 + 5+2GB(Sabah Sarawak Offer) + Unlimited Calls & Sms.

Then I questioned them that why I call in and request this promotion and I confirmed I'm a Maxis One Club Member + 10 years with Maxis why I dont entitle to this plan. They keep saying this is for invitation only.
And only for loyalty member. So once I asked again not because i ported out to Celcom so you give me this call? He answered NO with full confident.

So now they called me and counter offer me after I ported out to Celcom. So fucking efficient. When I reject the offer, they start defaming Celcom giving numbers don't know from where saying Celcom 4G Sucks.
Maxis is the best this and that.

After all the bullshits i got from them i insisted and say no. Then he sounds pretty pissed and ask WHY SIR WHY SIR.. I answered : Because I don't feel like staying with Maxis anymore you guys played with your loyal
customers. Then he started everything all over again..

I stop him halfway and say Decision Made. Bye Maxis. Then baru he gave up..

the number i got is from 03 2856 6000 which I Believe is their so called Loyalty Department. LOL!

anyone who want to try their luck can try calling this number and see if they can give you the same offer!

You just left recently? LOLLL.... I left Maxis 4 or 5 years ago!! F&ck them!!! I ported to Digi, and have U Mobile as my secondary number. I am one of the first to buy Hotlink when they newly launched it decades ago! It cost RM240 ++ for one bloody sim pack. Then I converted to post paid after I started working, and yet they screw their loyal customers upside down. Basically, they don't give a shit... Maxis will even pay for your taxi fare or escort you to another telco shop! I do not recommend anyone to stay with or sign up with Maxis, does not matter what package they offer you!

I get an offer for rm128+7gb+free calls and sms but what your friend got is really good.. I never accepted the offer cuz I'm still on surfmore 75 with 10 loyalty discount.. Wahaha..

I got same offer. Using surf more 75. Did not sign up and still sticking to surf more since I use that for data only and not calls.

I have another line using celcom first gold. Rm 80 for 5 gb and extra 5 gb over the weekends. Unlimited calls and SMS to everything domestic. Give free Starbucks card with rm 20 value some more and best no contract.

I took the offer, but after rethink .. who know someday maxis just pretend to be forget to give the free extra 4gb to us .. and or like my free spotify premium been take out suddenly and wanna charge me rm9.99/month ... lucky i cancel subcription on time ..

To those who said other operator is not good might need to rethink. Mostly people now got 2 sim, somemore now flagship device many dual sim too .. u can always buy a prepaid and try their network first ..

Mnp is easy .. any shopping mall sure have telco shop for u to walk in

Even if other operators are not good enough in terms of network coverage and speed, these will improve in time.

Maxis has proven itself to be double standard, unethical and insincere with their treatment of customers. This won't change over time. It's the way they do business.

I am not a Maxis supporter but i do not think you should get so frustrated because after all it is all about business. Just think about this, if you are so water fish and loyal to maxis, why should they even offer you with cheaper plan and offer that might cause them to earn less from their super loyal customer ? There is nothing to piss about, when there is better offer out there, a smart one should just switch to other telco which can offer the most competitive plan. Not only maxis but all the telcos will only start to value you when u decided to leave them. I think this apply to many situations as well.

Haha anyway thanks for sharing. Not to mock you or laugh you but no point to get angry laaa.

@alphonse, i agree with u accept that TS actually called up to ask for the same plan. now if TS kept quiet and waited for them to offer or just didnt bother to do anything then i agree that its business. but when customer comes up and have a fair point on being treated unfairly, its always better to look at the mirror. like what steven X said if i was in charge i would goreng marketing kao kao. whether it was a gimmick or not intended when u are caught with your hands in the cookie jar, own up. i guess less ppl have no more ethical sense now days. it goes a long way to show your customer that u r really doing your best for them and being ethical is a key. Always need to fight for consumer right and im happy that ts, u are because if we dont big companies like that would take advantage on us.

Just call the maxis cs she say we have no this plan.
And she ask me give her contact number for her to check is correct, they can give me the best plan!!!
Because I told her I just sign five line 2 line 188 3 lines 148 but how come plan 68 already can get benefit same like 188. Some more I just sign two months. Why don't hear your have this great plan

This might happen, once they launched biz plan some years back unlimited data usage, many signed up willing to pay few hundreds registration fees but only last for few months they capped it to 30 GB quota. So users complained and ranting maxis said they have their FUP clause and they can change whenever they need due to their FUP terms.

My area transmitter tower down for 2 months , and maxis keep delay and delay for the rebuilding work

It's so fking inconvenience for me , everytime have to drive out from house around 3km to make & receive call

At the end maxis only give compensate for just only rm30 some more wanna charge me rm10 for unbarring fees as I couldn't pay via phone
