If they open their EM plan (with unlimited late night Internet) to the public, they don't need to call me because i'll go to their centre to port back

I'll tell Maxis, "Thanks, but no thanks". Celcom is still cheaper with almost similar coverage.

My Maxis corporate plan is RM150 for 10GB (Used to be 30GB 1+ years ago) + unlimited calls and sms, contract still another one year to go   

Wife is already on Umobile, faster than Maxis where we usually are.

Nope knowing that...

- there are cases/offers of same package with lower price
- lower price from other telcos

i been their customer for more than 20 year, last year i try to open a new line, they said i can't cause i'm blacklisted (without i knowing), tell me i have to paid 2k+ cause out standing since 2009.

than i asked them, black listed means i never ever can own a maxis line ? their answer is yes, so i requested them to refund all my payment since 2009 till 2015, cause i'm not qualify as their customer, it look like i paying to wrong account as my my line is not suppose to be exit ......
one hour later, they call and told that was a mistake ....
what the hell

Do not accept anything  higher than the two packages below.
RM68 for 5GB + unlimited calls + Spotify
RM88 for 8GB + unlimited calls + Spotify

i think maxis is offering RM118 for 7GB to test the market

I checked back my monthly bills, bcos I have 2 supplimentary lines under my mainline, the offer price of RM118 will not reflect much on my total bill per month. At the most RM10-RM20 difference (if I make alot of calls that month)
My main usage is just the data, not alot of voice calls, so the RM88 for 8GB data is the best plan I have seen from Maxis offers. Apparently they only offer "elite" members which I have no idea what that means

some one from 03-6730 9022 called me to offer me 7GB with monthly commitment RM118. After i told them I just signed up for Zerolution + MaxisOne RM158 thy just hung up the line. I'm having 3 Principal & 3 Sub Lines with them and yet not being appreciated.

I'm with Maxis since 2000 - owing two primary lines with spending exceeding RM400 per month. Their marketing failure and arrogance managed to pissed me off and there are no benefits at all as their loyal customer for over a decade. Ported to DiGi today.

If you ask me personally, I believe Maxis will never make the RM68 plan fully public to all Malaysians. Maxis very well knows that they are the go-to provider (to most people's eyes) IF the price is good.

Just imagine if the RM68 was announced and made fully available to all, I'm not sure if Maxis servers and base towers can handle the sudden influx of port-in users from Celcom, U-Mobile, DiGi, etc. Because trust me, that WILL definitely happen since Maxis's brand seems to be the 'best' among telcos now in Malaysia. 

P/S: I did not do anything special on my Celcom port-out request. I already have a line which is on First Gold 80 (Celcom). I just told the nice BlueCube staff that I want to port-in a line from Maxis to add as another principal line into my Celcom account. No questions asked. 

oh...i had received 2 round of sms of porting request and porting reject since i accepted the offer...
wondering do i actually need to do sth about it...

anyway...talking about maxis...i believe their plan, even revised, will still be pricier than other market players....
e.g.
celcom gold unlimited/5+5GB/80, u p70 unlimited/7GB(initially)/70, dig 98 unlimited/7GB/78
Maxis i think will be unlimited/7GB/88 (given what they try to offer now)
for those who price conscious and don mind of cellular speed etc, saving of RM10-18/mth is sth...for some maxis will be a taker...
it will create some influx....but not to that extent like what celcom get i believe...
as u say...they wan paying customers...not numbers...guess they still try to find a  nice point for their adjusted plan...

I did request today to port in to Celcom and received their counter offer for MO 5GB for rm68

and I accepted their offer... 😝

Let us know the outcome bro. My penalty is 1200 but I'm thinking of cutting my losses and walking. I'm paying 128 for 3GB and people are paying close to half of that and getting 5GB. I've lambasted them but they gave me a standard cut and paste answer - I'm not their "selected" customer.

Maxis offer the counter plan recently. The offer I notice is RM70++ include unlimited call and sms, 5GB/7GB data.

I quit maxis last year Dec. They counter offer me with Samsung phones. They always do such thing. I transferred to UMobile. UMobile offer me 8GB for the time I sign up, after that constant 7GB, recently offered me 15GB Per month until June with same price and unlimited calls. Celcom 15GB is an on off plan. They got quota on certain day and time.

I was offered 7GB for RM118 3 days ago, i was on Surfmore RM75.

They say the offer is based on our current usage and and tenureship along with payment records.

For those who did not get this offer, i suggest you to enable auto-debit payment for your  account and i am sure you will get a call from them, provided you are with Maxis for over 2 years.

When Celcom offerred the First Basic plan at RM38 with 3GB data + 50 minutes free call + 50 free SMS last year, 3 of my family members, including me quickly grabbed it and never look back. It still is the best plan ever created by a telco.

This maybe the new plan will release.
