i start to wonder if the i-stop really contribute a lot in fuel savings, let's say in a whole trip my idle time is 5 mins and i-stop is 2 mins, i only managed to saved like 1-2km according to the display from CMU
now this is my 2nd tank and the total mileage saved from i-stop is merely 8km, but the battery that support start-stop function cost around RM600 as compare to normal maintenance-free battery that only cost around RM400 given the same capacity without start-stop support
what you all think? if next time you change the battery will you still use back battery with start-stop support?
Malaysia CKD Mazda 3 does not comes with i-eloop. With i-Eloop, the battery life span with be prolonged..now this is my 2nd tank and the total mileage saved from i-stop is merely 8km, but the battery that support start-stop function cost around RM600 as compare to normal maintenance-free battery that only cost around RM400 given the same capacity without start-stop support
