I think I might have identified the source of the problem - my USB car charger. It really does fast charging, even with an iPhone 6 plus and note 4 at the same time.

But I think it malfunctioned either because it got too hot or because of a faulty iPhone cable (known for their low quality original cables, but I digress), because I remember smelling a slight hint of plastic burning in the car last week but couldn't identify where it came from. Immediately after that I realized that the iPhone cable was no longer working. Then we could hear a very soft but high pitched buzzing sound, which stopped when the car charger was removed. The next day onwards, I continued to use the car charger with no problems, and a couple of days later the iStop sign kept blinking and the warning sign was lit.

I've not plugged in the car charger since yesterday afternoon, and the iStop sign has since stopped blinking and warning sign no longer comes on

did the charger hot to touch? it seems like the car is able to detect leakage and disable the i-stop and warn you

Guys, just a quick question:

MBB offered me 2.89 for 7 years
Affin offered 2.80 for 8 years

If i take Affin and clear it off in 7 years, does the total interest amount lesser than MBB?

from what i know, car loan interest rate doesn't count like that, interest for car loan will be calculated up front, which means for the first 2-3 years you will be pay off interest and instead of your principal amount, even if you pay off 1 year earlier the interest rate will still remain as 22-25k for your case, if the bank got give some rebate for paying off earlier then i not sure about that la

Yes correct. The amount wont be less even you pay finish before the period.

90K ++ is abit on the ceiling for second hand for me.. for 90k, I think i'll go for m2 new car instead.
However, for m3 year 2011, it's only around 50k++ which is reasonable for 2nd hand car. If i waited till next year, i think i'll get the newer FL version instead for roughly the same price.
