My "walk-away-auto-lock" doesnt seem to work, wondering if this is available in GL model. I do have the option to set it to 30s though.

QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 29 2016, 10:17 AM) usually need to turn off if you place rear-facing child seat at the front, i dont have kids/babies though but is always good to know the functionality of your car beside just driving it, you will never know it might come in handy one day i see, didnt think of that. i thought u wanted to murder someone when i first read |

QUOTE(amduser @ Apr 3 2016, 11:08 AM) Driving at Ipoh over the weekend and fetch my parents all the time and noticed that the FC increased from 7.7L average to 9.1L average when driving in Ipoh road with same driving style i'm from Ipoh too, I'll try to monitor my FC when i go back next time While in KL I can get 7.7L to 8.3L average Maybe Ipoh road a lot of traffic light and most of the time cannot go over 80km/h to get the fuel saving cruising speed, so it seems like driving slower actually consume more fuel, while my previous vios consume less fuel when driving below 90km/h Meanwhile, i'm having the average of 7L, driving mainly around Shah Alam and PJ. |

QUOTE(albertemmer @ Apr 7 2016, 09:15 AM) istop only works when car fully stop with seat belt on, full press on break pedal. OR, u can just shift to N and it will be activated. but blimey, you dont need istop. better off the function to prolong battery life. the max that i can get out of iStop is just 1 min 59 seconds, im looking for a way to permanently off it without having to do it manually every time i start my car |

QUOTE(amduser @ Apr 9 2016, 07:03 PM) how does the brake sound sounds like? the brake will have grinding sound if you didnt apply enough pressure when your car is standstill, which is very normal i do have those grinding sound in standstill and whenever i hear it, ill pull my handbrake a little bit more. i'll bring this up on my coming service and i assume this is something the SC can adjust easilyso far i dont have problem with the sound from suspension, but sometimes i heard some knocking sound, not sure is from my music or from the car sometimes i do have a soft kruk sound when i go over a speed bump but it would be something which i will not notice if i have not been reading all the complaints here. probably my car is still new and this soft noise need some time to grow and get louder |

QUOTE(aimeh @ Apr 11 2016, 05:34 PM) Malaysian road is slightly slope to the left. To let dirt / water flow beside instead of center. i seriously doubt this, if this is really the case then it happens to all cars So sometimes we do feel like car are tend to go left. But there are chances that your alignment run also. |

QUOTE(Chinoz @ Apr 14 2016, 09:44 AM) You can usually tell from the VIN, but to decode is typically a challenge. good to know The easier way would be to look at the bottom of the front seatbelts - there should be a label that tells you year of manufacture. Also look at the date marked on the tyres - might give you an indication of how long it's been sitting in the showroom. |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Apr 18 2016, 12:02 PM) The semi is good enough. 6 months oil change is actually considered very short, even decent mineral oil (Honda has mineral oil option even for 10k km oil change) will still be quite ok at this point. My opinion is to just save the cash and stick with the free oil. For the price they charge for the fully synthetic upgrade, can get even better fully synthetic oils if you know where to find. +1For me, I just go with the free oil and the car still performing fine as I'm approaching my 3rd service schedule soon. The free oil is lighter, so the engine can rev faster and save a little more petrol. Only go for fully synthetic if you love to rev the engine hard, always have heavy load, crazy jam all the time of your driving and/or a lot of uphill drives. Enjoy your new ride I opted the free semi synthetic too. I think this is just a matter of choosing a bottle of 50 or 100bucks wine. As long as you can feel the difference, and the difference matters to you, then go for the more expensive one I dont have very particular taste buds, so i'm happy with the cheap ones |
