Just enroll last week and after that my boss ask me to go overseas.....so only few trips.

Realise that waze gps does not indicate exact pick up location sometimes + need to call rider to confirm and look around

Pick up one rider to Sunway pyramid.....follow gps end up inside the mall parking. Quickly get up the parking after drop customer using touch and go. No yet check whether already deduct parking or not

DO u think google map is better?

Are there any goods facebook group what you all can suggest?

I prefer the group member communicate in English as my Malay is koyak.

1) Today pick a rider to Subang from Sunway. Happen to miss the nearest u-turn...so need to u turn further down the road...end up travelling on the longer distance.

Rider not happy and said that he has paid extra due to my miss and will call to uber office to complain.....later in the evening, i notice that fair adjustment has been made in the trip history. For this case, this rider is the credit card passager. I think it is fair to him.

It just came across my mind...if this passager is the cash paying customer, who should I do? Ask him to pay the exact fare in cash show in the uber app or what?

2) If the cash paying customer cancel the trip after 5 mins without valid reason, does uber still paid me actual fare incurred based on the estimated distance?

3) The pings came in non-stop during the peak hours in the busy area. What is the taikor here normally do if the next rider ping already in (before dropping off the passager in the car) but wish to take a short break or stop driving? If I ignore the ping, it does not look goods on my acceptance rate

I think the above question being deal with before in this thread. But the thread is simply too long for me for this specific info.

Yes. Short trips are the pain in the ass. We have to go through the stress of caught in jam etc for 2 - 3 ringgits income.

Best if u enrol as driver. Drive 1-2 days in busy areas u know already

Could be surge rate in the area or driver used longer route due to miss or wrong turning etc.

Even at the surge rate of 1.6, per trip can only get 3-6 ringgit after deduct uber fees

Unless there r some longer trips in between such as my trip from subang to bukit bintang that give me rm35.

If 100% short trips, driver cannot make a living even with surge.
