Interested to know what you all think of the Marriott-SPG merger/takeover. Personally I'm happy to have Gold for HHonors, SPG and Marriott now with minimum effort. :-)

Taking Emirates flight now allows you to obtain loyalty points either in Skyward Miles or Enrich Miles. Which one do you guys normally choose or is there a better loyalty program?

Anyone using Maybank SIA Krisflyer Amex card?

I am paying my utilities bill with it, it suppose to credit the KF miles after the statement date but it's been 2 week and nothing appear in my KF account. Anyone got their miles this month?

1. do you fly often enough to actually accrue 30-40k miles at least over a couple of years?
2. do you spend on credit cards enough to the equivalent of the above over a similar period of time?

If yes to #2 then Enrich may be the best way to go since you can combine #1 and #2 to gain 30k or more before they expire and be able to redeem something.

If no to both then in all honesty you won't be able to collect enough miles to be useful. Happened to me with my Qatar and Emirates miles, couldn't even use the miles for online shopping because the shipping/taxes to ship stuff to Malaysia were too expensive. In the end I let them expire, probably around 15-20k total.

I did, I still have more than 10k miles pending and the CS claimed they are having issue with krisflyer.

I have the card since may or june and so far have only receive one transfer. quite lousy if u ask me.

I tot I break the condition to earn miles, been reading up and down and don't see any exclusion... If the problem is on their end then I am OK to wait. The last time I call the AMEX CS, been putting me on hold for 15mins and I hang up, not sure If I can call to premier line, ask some silly question then get them to help me on this case?

1. I take about 2-3 flights per year but on different airlines since I just choose the airline based on the cheapest ticket available.

2. I haven't redeemed Enrich miles using credit card before, I assume Maybank gives the most points? What about Citibank?

different airlines are ok but try to choose airlines that accept your preferred frewuent flyer program. Ex. stick to one particular alliance so you can focus all your miles into one FFP.

citibank miles earning capability is bad, 1 mile with RM4.5 spending. the best card earns you 1 mile with only RM 1 spending.

went to card center and they help me call to rectify..still not solve yet

what is the best frequent flyer program i should join if i wil travel a lot to china and within china? Star alliance?

any recommendation?

lol to comfort you, they did the same to me!!

it took them 3 months to recorrect my KF acc, basically asking SIA to merge the miles to your original acc.

then I nvr see any miles coming in and they tell me they are having issues.

need to find them and bang table ady...hahhahaa

but KF have told me another account point ...they still mid of combining two account for me

u never specific the KF acc when apply the card?

My 3k welcome miles from april till now also not yet credited

i have only 1 KF account and its embossed on the Amex card, previously did a small transaction and received the 3,000 welcome bonus, together with 3 KF miles for the transaction, so suppose all already in place.

Now I did large transaction then it never show up.

Hi guys, if i'm travelling by turkish airlines to europe, would I be able to earn krisflyer points? or MH miles or asia miles? I saw their partners are SIA..but if I fly with turkish airlines, how do I earn krisflyer points yeah? How does this partner airlines thing work? Thanks!

Just show then your krisflyer card when you check in...

Mh code share with tk....so you should be able to collect enrich miles to/for ist if it's ticketed under mh....but not other non code share sectors...

I would just use krisflyer....

I'll be flying from kl to frankfurt then to Istanbul then back to KL. You would recommend to use Krisflyer card for all 3 flights (if that is possible)? Or Krisflyer for KL to frankfurt then to Istanbul and then enrich for Istanbul to KL? Thank you limeuu!

thats mean Maybank really have issue on this
