Oh, do u like Hilton? Have u tried matching to hhnors to give u a bit of the extra run where possible?
*
I'm ok with Hilton, meh program & im not really collecting their points. But at least they're partner with Enrich so i do double dip.
I got status matched to Hilton Diamond & Hyatt Diamond in Nov 2015 from my SPG Platinum status.
Hilton diamond dont give me a suite upgrade, Hyatt you have to request by phone which I'm bit lazy to redeem.
yet to try the diamond power with Hyatt though... Grand Hyatt KL is too expensive & we dont have corporate rates with them.

Me neither, haven't heard of such match. It's like matching apple and orange.

Enricb having 30 to 50% promo for flights to sydney, melbourne, perth and auckland..

Too bad flight date too close to my current trip. And so far only sydney and mel will be using the new a330 J class.

There are some that share benefits between airline and hotel programs but it's very limited and Enrich being a very small player in this business is definitely not one of them. SPG/Delta Crossover is one, Marriot/United RewardPlus is another. Google for details, but it's mostly FYI only as it doesn't apply to most of us in this region.

Currently in Guangzhou on business. Took SQ Business class and while the service was great, the food left a lot to be desired. Very bland and tasteless. Flat seats were great for the 4 hour flight, fell asleep watching Revenant (great performance from DiCaprio notwithstanding).

How's the premium lounge at Baiyun? I presume I can get in flying SQ J?

Trying to book a last minute KUL-NYC return flight using Asia Miles, and it's mostly full. Damn CX and those AAdvantage flyers who booked flights up front sad.gif

Have to be creative to look for options now. I have calling Asia Miles on the phone to book a ticket...

Thanks! Have no choice, my flight departs 120AM so hopefully the crowd will thin out later in the night.

I am traveling mostly in Asia region & I find it Accor range of hotels are much more appealing at both cost & quality wise. Been checking out SPG offers since I recently signed up for their SPG Gold program, most of the time the cost is much higher than what Accor (& sometimes even Hhonors) had for the same quality of hotels.

Yeah, not even 1 seat available, was looking to travel the week of May 15th.

Does the lounge stay open past midnight? Last I flew out of Beijing the lounge closed at midnight so I got kicked out and had to hang around the airport gate.

Try again as it gets closer, that's when CX will tend to open up availability.

Everything from now till Feb 2017 will be slim pickings due to the AA devaluation rush. Only hope on CX especially is for them to release last minute inventory.

No last minute tickets available too, I've checked this weekend and next weekend. Might get lucky with the other US destinations (SFO, LAX, ORD, BOS) but if not I'll just cancel the trip biggrin.gif

In all honesty I can't complain about AAdvantage members booking up seats, I did the same as well biggrin.gif

Yeah I do see F once in awhile, but trying to save up my miles for that potential SQ F trip with the family. I'm down to my last 500k or so miles. 220k return on F is almost 2 people flying on PEY. biggrin.gif

Anyway I do see JL availability in PEY and sometimes J, might try my luck with some of the lesser knowns OW partners, Gulf Air or Finnair or just wait for CX last minute availability next weekend...
