QUOTE(HL2712 @ May 8 2016, 10:14 PM) have been thinking whether to get 56 inches 330 or 50 inches 630, was thinking both are 4K tv from sharp and the picture quality should differ that much. did u buy it?but i went to SenHeng today to compare side to side, the 630 is really better. well not very tech savvy, but 630x does look much better. there are surely differences, no biz will sell 2 same things for diff price! the differences were discussed in this thread. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3887746/+40#bottom besides picture quality, one will also decide on how many hdmi input, arc audio quality, what android inside, etc. for someone who does not want the android and only need 2 hdmi, the ue630x may not be a better buy. i need 4 hdmi. and i love the android inside! |

Select the same picture mode (preferably movie mode) on both TVs and play the same source files (bring yours along.. Various resolutions and formats).. Compare and listen to your eyes.. Out of courtesy & not to waste the sales guy/gal's time, make sure you have truly decided and ready to buy on the spot before asking for such favors..but i went to SenHeng today to compare side to side, the 630 is really better. well not very tech savvy, but 630x does look much better. |

Frankly, I do not know if I can use the android inside well if not for the fact that I have used android boxes for >2 years now.I think for me, save for better picture quality, I would like to have the android to fully utilize the tv |

Guys, if u haven't tried enough, check out YouTube in the tv.
Search for UHD or 4K... Lots of incredibly stunning videos. You can only get these in 2160p with the tv; boxes won't do, like Netflix 4K. After watching a few more, I have to think about buying google stock. |

Agree, it will be justified if you buy after asking so many favors. |

U mean u have a 4K video on HDD, how to play?U can use the usb ports of the tv, play with media function. Note the USB ports don't read certain brands or models of HDD too well. U can use kodi app to play the HDD. The default tv player and Kodi are the best. Vlc, Es, mx players u can get on playstore do not support 4K, subs can be problematic. Or, can get a standalone box player that will deliver 4K. This is the best way to play all files, all formats, easy navigation, get HD audio, etc. This post has been edited by AVFAN: May 23 2016, 12:52 PM |

QUOTE(perky @ May 25 2016, 09:58 AM) i do not know samsung except that it works on tizen, not androidtv found in sharp, sony and philips.so, it will be a little different. if u know androids, it works exactly the same, be it tv, box, tablet or phone. to change dns, u just go to network settings, switch from dhcp to static, and key in yr new ip/dns. ue630x will give netflix uhd, but what dns u use to get usa content, i wouldn't know. |
