the good news for those unifi ultimaters is u will soon get to use FREE Lionsgate Play and iQiyi apps on your ue630x.

just for the record... for UE630x ATV:

unifi playTV app in playstore is now v1.2.17 - works good.

if u r unifi ultimate user, u can now have Lionsgate and iQiyi (or other choice) apps installed and activated.

all 3 apps work well on ATV, reasonable PQ, plenty of stuff to watch - all for free.


in addition, youtube is back, working good now.

just uninstall, reinstall from playstore, all is good.

also, unifiTV app used to have this problem of audio continuing after exit - this is solved with v1.2.17.

this ue630x is my fav TV, even after >6 years - excellent PQ, only that it is non HDR.

no, u can set to 1080p with remote arrow down.

VIP, non VIP can play with unifi ultimate free streaming apps deal.

think u have a serious connectivity issue...

My LC-UE630x YouTube stopped working about 2 weeks ago.
Then I used mobile phone to cast. Today it has stopped working.

Luckily still can cast using laptop.

I'm think it is because of Android version 6? Needs to update the Android version?

sharp quite durable. mine also last long time but now keep in storage cause replaced with tcl d.
anyway if your youtube stop working its probably software issue. try updating or downgrading it. if cannot then use an external player like mibox or maybe even laptop

kodi... i hv given up using it, more so on ATV.

it was useful for a time but now, legit ATV streaming apps like D+H, unifiTV, iQiyi are cheap n very reliable.


no, u can't upgrade android os further even if u try.

last security patch 1 jan 2018 will reject; android 6.0.1 is final.

Hi I know this is an old thread but anyone able to update their old tv? My model is the LC-UE630X and when I open Netflix, it says I need to update but when I do I couldn’t update it. It’s an old old firmware version from 30800_20170216 to 31200_20180207. Couldn’t find the firmware download cause wanna try using USB. The internet download just won’t go through via the TV.

I hv same TV, still gud.

I just checked... Utube, unifitv, Disney+H all working.

Netflix... I dun hv subscription but it's working, prompting me to subscribe.

At settings, I see:

I can’t go through with the update via internet. Internet on tv was working fine as I am able to play videos on YouTube. Where can I download the version build manually so I can use USB to update? It’s not available on Sharp’s website.

if your netflix version isn't the one i hv, may be worth trying to sideload manually.

i hv never sideloaded netflix this way. so, i dunno if it will work.

possible system security may reject. however, i did it once with youtube, OK.

try at own risk but i think u hv nothing to lose since current one isn't working anymore.
