Yeah indeed unifi tv now upselling existing subscribers to ultimate pack with extra OTT perks (almost everything except netflix and disney hotstar, no thanks to astro)

So aneka pack and ruby pack forced bundled customers, get ready to add up for 199+ pack, or just move on to another isp or high seas or whatever if don't want to settle for lesser and lesser content selection

All of them can be subscribed as ala-carte. Even in Singapore, Simply South, Iqiyi, TVBAnywhere+ and others are being offered as partered with TV providers and ala-carte.

i think unifi can give free access TVBAnywhere+ for ruby pack plus subscribers

Oh. So, the differences between Ultimate Pack and other Plus Packs are GEM (CH 471), Animax (CH 472), SPOTV (CH 706) and SPOTV 2 (CH 707). All packs can access HITS Movies (CH 407), AXN (CH 453), HITS (CH 454), K-Plus (CH 462), Arirang (CH 463), and Techstorm (CH 505) while Ruby Plus Pack can access all these new Plus Pack channels + Celestial Movies (CH 288) and CCM (CH 289).

Cannot lah! Even just subcribing to the VOD Zone already costs RM 19.99 per month. The full app (including live-TV channels) costs RM 39.99. Ruby Pack Plus only costs RM 30. Celestial channels are way expensive than SCM (Malaysia feed).

Yup. I feel like it exceeds their budget for Ultimate Pack. BBC Player (RM 10) + Lionsgate Play (RM 15) + One of the selected app which is equivalent to or under RM 15

* Viu = RM 12.90
* Zee5 = RM 14.90
* Simply South = RM 10

only on UPB ahh.. if subscribe their streaming, and then can install on our own box ahh say Mi Box?

i am paying rm8.90 for VIP iQiyi on androidTV... so, i can save it when it kicks in with unifi ultimate!

i think for me, ultimate pack with oldest silver box:

.. get new channels on STB and on playtv app
.. get free lionsgate play+iQiyi on app - these apps exist on AndroidTV - mibox is using ATV.

Why not make it flexible..Pick up 3 free and other extra pay.

activate the new
streaming apps with
exclusive access?
Step 1: Visit microsite activate.unifi.com.my to
activate Lionsgate Play and another one (1) streaming
app of your choice (iQiyi / Viu / Simply South / ZEE5)
starting 24th September 2021.
Step 2: Verify/Key-in your unifi ID and verify your contact
number. Select the streaming app of your choice.
Step 3: You will receive an SMS containing a One-time
Password (OTP). Key-in the OTP and select “Confirm”.
Step 4: After activation is successful on the microsite, you
can enjoy the streaming apps on unifi Plus Box or the
app.
Steps to connect and enjoy the streaming apps are
unique to its own. You may refer to the user guides for
each streaming app at www.unifi.com.my/plusbox.

wanna ask why TVB Anywhere is available at Ruby+ which is not the premier package but not available at Ultimate package?

really confused with this thing...

No. It's not included in any of the current packs. They only list it as one of the apps that you can subscribe and stream using UPB. The reason they do this on the Ruby Plus webpage is that they know most Ruby Plus subscribers are looking for TVB content. It's not free though.

Update: They also promote TVB app on Aneka Plus Pack webpage because a lot of Chinese and Malay viewers love watching TVB programs. Maybe that's what they found in their marketing survey.

they took out sport channel, but not replacing it with another sport channel for aneka, ruby and vernam pack.

instead give other asian tv series, which for me are not matching. becoming like astro already, sports channel need to pay extra.
