but now my outstanding balance is 0, but statement balance still got value.

Statement balance is your spending between the statement cycle. Actually you just need to clear the statement balance on due date.

how does the GSC RM8 Visa Checkout Promo works?

I registered cc in visa checkout, but upon payment (before [Confirm]) the charge is normal ticket price.

1) when will see the RM8 price?
2) what is the merchant name captured? visa san francisco or gsc?

p/s: Today is the last Friday of the promo. It's barely after 12am, so the price not reflected because over quota? or end of promo?

darn. i tried both times at 12+am (testing) and just now 755am (purchased liao).

showtime is for tomorrow. but from the t&cs, it stated any screen time, it doesnt mention advance ticket not applicable

**update: ok my suspicion is true. only same-day showtime ticket purchase. well, the quota already finished few minutes ago when i tried again to test

It can be done on advance ticket purchased, I have done this before...

I suspect that the end date of promotion is on today, so maybe the date of ticket cannot purchased after this date 3rd June

it's ok la, i used HLB Mach to get 10% Movies cashback. a litttle comfort is that the final merchant name is GSC, so it's still eligible for cashback
