cybpsych let us know your MBB GIA-i interest for Dec month. Should be in few days time. I think it will be less by few cents (depending on your placement amt) as I mentioned earlier.

QUOTE(bbgoat @ Jan 6 2016, 02:44 PM) I think is the second day after I xfer'ed the money. It was shown immediately in the Moneybox. But I think hrs later, it disappeared. Then the next day the CS called me. Should've done it yesterday when CIMB extended that free instant IBG thingy until yesterday. So check your money few hrs later. It may disappear ! Anyway that was like 4 or 5 mths ago. Not sure the same thing will happen. They may have improved their procedure. I cheapskate use normal IBG this morning. So it will most likely go in by late afternoon today. lol. Still nothing in the account yet. Will have to check tomorrow. If tomorrow still nothing then will call CS and ask. |

Further on UOB cashier order fee. Today received a new twist, which i believe will give the definite answer. The RM2.80 is consist of RM2.12 service fee + RM0.68 miscellaneous fee. The service fee is waivable by the branches so that is why some are getting 0.68 while the rest 2.80.

QUOTE(kit2 @ Jan 6 2016, 07:50 AM) you don't need a debit card in order to gain access to online banking. of course, with a debit card you can sign up for online banking yourself. without it, the bank has to create an account for you. hong leong mach branches cannot do it, so you have to visit a normal branch. Then, I should rephrase as HLB MACH.. Coz my colleague went to HLB MACH and she has to get the debit card.. But as far as I know, for HLB account opening, u r required to open an CASA with them with RM8 charges with debit card, I'm not sure which branch allow only online banking (HL Connect) without any product (such as CC, loan, CASA)with them. Can u advise how is the procedure? |

But UOB as a company should have a more clear cut fees structure. That means local branches can have their own ways to charge fees even within the same state in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Jan 5 2016, 09:29 PM) You would need to ask at the branch. But I cannot recall when the promotion is supposed to end.It is effective rate 4.17% but you will get interest every month & it can be added on to the principal to get the following month's interest just like GIA. |

My colleague also open at pavilion. For my case, I told them I don need the ATM card coz I'm existing HLB CC holder with HL Connect. But, I also got HL saving with the hello kitty card which they force me to take too. Now I read someone reported that I can cancel it, gonna do it by this week to avoid giving free money to bank every year. That ATM card sitting nicely in my wallet, never use it for past few years after I opened the acc. |
