Ya, I'm the person who live in jungle was looking for the advice from the most expert/frequent traveler like you RC. So I'm didn't really care people laugh at me at all.. as all the while u said, ppl are just research/look for info here.

Just coming back from Park near by my house. Surprise today,there have sour plum tree already blossom..its 11th January 2016..its winter season now..temperature is 10 Celsius..expecting for Sakura or Cheery Blossom will blooming maybe early February or Mid of February 2016...i will keep update.

i went last year during cny
at tat time is plum blossom season

now really regret didnt go this year too (cny)


i bought ticket to chiangmai for cherry blossom
hopefully my trip is worth of it

I assume below is the day you propose

1st day:
Exploring Kyoto (Activated KTP)
Kyoto > Osaka by Nankai Main Line (KTP)

2nd day:
Exploring Osaka by Sybway (KTP)

3rd day:
Osaka > Kobe > Osaka by Nankai Kobe Line (KTP)

For first and 3rd day should be worth but for 2nd day exploring Osaka through subway will it be worth?

This is my plan for my KTP since I plan to get it and of course want to utilize those long journey to make it more worth it:

1st day:
Activate KTP : Osaka - Kobe - Arima Onsen - Kobe - Osaka / Osaka - Himeji - Kobe - Osaka (depend my group prefer see castle or onsen experience)

2nd day:
Osaka - Yamazaki - Kyoto - Exploring Kyoto

3rd day:
Kyoto - Fushimi Inari - Nara - Kyoto / Kyoto - Arashiyama - Kyoto (Nara should be of better value right?)

If exploring osaka by Subway is also worth it maybe I'll choose that day to activate the pass also. Thanks sifu RC in advance.

I think for those who has not visited japan, it is good to view travel blogs in YouTube. A few hong kee blogs are nice and informatic.

if it is 1 month earlier, your trip also will miss it...yours just 1 week earlier than mine

TAS dont start until Friday unless you are special VIP. I will be there this weekend. As for gloves really depends. If you are inside the hall, it will be hot (cars and model gals. ) Outside will be a bit cold and do expect some wind. The temperature have got colder this week.

here's my itinerary for 4days in Osaka and Kyoto. RC sifu help me to have a look.
All will be using ICOCA
Kyoto many walk walk, not sure ok or not, later walk till leg cramps.. hahaha

Day 3 Impossible. If you put Inari Shire at Middle. Because morning you already spent so much of energy on walking.
I always put Inari Shire at Morning. Less people , peaceful and alot energy to attk the Top of Hill.
After Inari Shire then Kiyomizu Temple because same. Need climbing. Put all Climbing stuff at morning before noon.
Higashiyama Area put behind after all climbing part. can slow slow walking.
