might as well now redo back the original plan to reduce visiting parks and do something else since the chances missing the hanami is pretty much higher laugh.gif me too got a few booking that too late to adjust sweat.gif

side note to muslim forummer:

Those that visited kyoto and tried eating at Ayam-Ya before, great news that they just opened their first branch in KLIA2!

RegentCid sacwoc Samurai you gotch go Odawara plum festival before? Looks quite interesting but I'm wondering if it would be wise to prioritize that over other more 'traditional' Tokyo day trips like Nikko, kamakura, kawaguchiko etc (I never been to any outlying area from Tokyo lol).

Thinking Odawara castle, then lunch, then plum festival, then go matsuda if the early blooming Sakura varieties are already out.

I will choose Odawara plum festival

Normal. No offkine maps available for Japan. Nevertheless, Do not clear your historical data & cache b4 you leave Japan. Maintained the Japan maps that you have view vecause you still can view the offline googlemaps in detail & current location without any data although you can't navigate.

You haven't seen this year's snowfall stats. As of end-Dec, cumulative snowfall this season is 103cm. Last season was 437cm.

Last 7 days only 6cm of snow hmm.gif

Based on latest news yesterday, starting next 2 weeks..Japan are little bit warm ,no more snow same like Spring season. Lots ski resort are closed due of less of snow this year. If you want snow,Hokkaido are the best option. smile.gif

Odawara are far far away from my places. smile.gif

Noted Mr Stimix.. smile.gif

hi @regentcid . It's my first time travelling to Japan and hope I could get the best guide from you.

I've booked flight and AirBnB for my trip that falls on 16 May 2016 to 24 May 2016.

My main concern now is that I'll be around Osaka from 16th May to 19th May. And we plan to go to Tokyo on 19th May yet come back Osaka on 23rd May to catch our flight.
To simplify it.:-
16/5/2016 - 19/5/2016 Osaka
19/5/2016 - 23/5/2016 Tokyo
23/5/2016 - 24/5/2016 Back to Osaka

May I know by travelling like this, which method would u recommend for transportation? Should I purchase JR pass or buy it in Japan instead?
Which is the cheapest way to travel 2 ways between Osaka and Tokyo?

Thank you in advance!

ForlornBrat this kind of never do homework question you surely kena fucuk by RC.

Go Hyperdia or Japan guide and see what is the price of train to/from Tokyo / Kyoto / Osaka.

Then google JR Pass and see what's the price.

Then u will know the answer.
