Try Googling for sources of brake noise. If the problem lies with the lack of noise reduction material on the pads themselves, I suppose that there's no reason to worry about brake failure.

Thanks. After googling, found that rust on the disc also can cause brake. Somehow my rear disc is very rusty while front discs not rusty at all lol..

hmm.gif Maybe it's because the rear brakes aren't as heavily used as the front pads. Get a bunch of people to sit in your car so that the EBD system will make the rear brakes work harder. laugh.gif

I'm currently searching for a proper brake lubricant, and it seems that it's very difficult to find them in Malaysia. grumble.gif. I'm going to pay a visit to Ace Hardware one day to see what they have to offer.

Example:

Well... Proper brake lubricant/grease is what I'm looking for at this point, i.e. one that can resist high temperatures and would not be easily washed off. Good or bad I don't know. smile.gif

Hi guys, want to ask about the car steering wheel vibrate when idle, isit because of steering column ? steering rack or engine mounting. Car mileage 65k, 4 years 11 month. When drive no sound, just idle there's the vibration and sound.

Persona lo. Steering much lighter. Power better. But I like waja interior more than persona. Persona interior abit plain..

Power wise: persona > waja

FC wise: persona RM 30 @ 1.95/L can go 288km according to trip computer. Waja RM 30 @ 1.95/L can go 130-140km. Persona > waja

Exterior design: no doubt persona > waja
Interior design: waja > persona for me

Handling: persona > waja

No lo. Damn makan minyak 1.. Sometimes if really bad, RM 30 can go 110-120only... But then alot ppl say that waja batch with 4g18 engine is the most reliable waja ever. This waja already clocked 210k, 13 years old and still no problem lol

hmm.gif Maybe try some other brand or more expensive Bendix pads like the Bendix Ultimate. My Bendix MKT brake pads make a lot of groaning noise when they're cold and the car is almost at a halt even when they were still new.
*
Bendix Ultimate only available for front disc brake , right?

Not sure. Can try enquiring. Why don't you consider other pads like Rapid stop or EBC brake pads? A forumer called Kent Goh @ xd auto parts should be selling them I think.

Supposed to be quite good. hmm.gif Based on what I found through searching, no one complains about noise, just brake dust. The other two pads I suggested are around the same price as the Ultimate.

Ok guys. Now when reverse brake no sound. But moving forward low speed brake got sound. Sound start noticeable at speed 60kmh below.

Most of the time is krok krok krok krok sound. Sometimes like got metal sound. Den got one is squeaking sound. Got a few tines is ngek ngek soubd. Issit brake pad problem ? Brake performance is okay jz the sound abit annoying. Already skim the disc btw

One more more thing is, sometime when I'm on uneven road, I can hear jit jit jit sound like rat lol
*
so many types of sounds

sounds like your car is having a good time..if you know what i mean brows.gif brows.gif

the jit jit jit rat sound is caused by metal parts rubbing with each other. in other words, something is loose. could be the seat bolts if u take it out before. happened to me last time after install sound system. Howie forgot to fully tighten 1 bolt of the passenger front seat laugh.gif. but now got that sound again, lazy to find the rat

Bought new that time no such issue, some foreman told me is steering column pr steering rack, some say is engine mounting.
Really doubt which is the correct one.

Any idea guys ?
