QUOTE(benson92 @ Dec 8 2015, 10:22 AM) gonna go back to zordaq to change to brembo brake pad, cause the speedex he give me make so loud sound when brake at low speed , duno need to go back how many times this month..btw the boss is friendly enough to handle my problem after office hour... Did you bed the brake pads properly? If they are new and they are squealing occasionally you might just need to bed them by going beyond 80KM/H and applying the brakes moderately hard until the vehicle almost stops, then repeat the cycle a few more times. QUOTE(yeewensmc @ Dec 8 2015, 10:29 AM) Bought new that time no such issue, some foreman told me is steering column pr steering rack, some say is engine mounting. Really doubt which is the correct one. Any idea guys ? I suspect it's just the mountings. Probably still won't be as vibration free as when the car was new due to engine wear and tear but it should eliminate most of it. This post has been edited by TDUEnthusiast: Dec 8 2015, 10:53 AM

QUOTE(yeewensmc @ Dec 7 2015, 10:00 PM) Hi guys, want to ask about the car steering wheel vibrate when idle, isit because of steering column ? steering rack or engine mounting. Car mileage 65k, 4 years 11 month. When drive no sound, just idle there's the vibration and sound. probably engine mounting aged already.

QUOTE(LazyKurosaki @ Dec 8 2015, 01:59 PM) Is it? How come like that 1? this problem normally due to brake pad doesnt fully attach to the rotor. Half of the brake pad surface dint "touch" the rotor, so the rust part still there. You can try remove the brake pad. Use sand paper "gosok" sikit. If the rotor surface not good also need to skim

Recently I just changed my front anti roll bar bush at shop. Cornering now is good , lotus handling is back. before changed the bush, during cornering you can slightly feel that the car have a bit shake, feel also not sharp.
After that , I self changing the rear anti roll bar bush and front absorber link. Now the cornering power better, back to top performance when getting the car, even using lousy tyre haha

Getting Started

|
Hi, I have a PE H-line. I changed the front absorber links yesterday and now it is making some weird noise. whenever I turn right on uneven road at low speed, i can hear a 'klok' sound from the right side front wheel. then i turn the steering back to neutral, another 'klok' sound. it wasn't making any noise before i change the links. anyone knows what is the cause? could it be improper installation of the links?
