my persona vs stock brake pads are from Bosch, dusty and noisy, very bad quality. I have changed all 4 pads to a new brand, much better.

i think this proton-mintye is slightly better than the stock original proton-bosch come with car, which emits brake dust like smoking. it made my rims looks smoking black after 1 week of usage. also it has causes my brake disc uneven and require skimming next time... my rear brake pad replaced with this proton-mintye @ RM80 perform better now.

yes, same here... usually the myth is dusty brake pad are softer and gentle to brake disc. but this ori proton-bosch still damaging the brake disc and noisy at times, very contradict to common "myth".

been smelling exhaust fume smell in my car cabin where i have no idea where is the problem..like drive for some time the smell will come...could it be my exhaust manifold? is not petrol smell although initially i thought it is..not sure what should I do to find out the root cause

Was it fitted with undersized gen2 window glass? Somebody kena here not sure it's troll or true story...

Thats because the switch is grounded to the car body via the switch's metal part and the screw., so a tiny spark is normal.

Last time my driver door also have this issue, I just tighten the screw to make sure the grounding route is firmly secured. After that it rarely happens anymore.

Funny thing happening to my persona.
when I turn my key to acc on, all the lights in my dashboard lights up, this is when the headlights are not switched on.
Anybody faced this kind of issue before.

You mean all the lights including all the check engine light, battery in the speedometer lights up? Even after the car has been started?

sorry didn't give full info, what I mean was like the whole dashboard meters lights up, all the indicators i.e check engine, warning light are not lit up.
this will be even after I start the car, worse case it becomes a bit brighter after starting the car.

My car does light up even when the headlamp is not switch on. The dashboard light will be dimmer when headlamp have been switched on as per Assiddiq said.

agree with the part where it gets dimmer when you switch on the lights but mine is weird the dashboard lights up when I turn key Acc on not even start yet. and then after start its gets a bit brighter.

Yours is Persona or Persona Elegance? If Persona Elegance then some parts of the meter will be lit up. If Persona I think you should get it checked.

I am selling all four of my tyres + rims as I am selling my car in a few days time.

Tyres: Yokohama Advan DB 195/60R15
Mileage: <12000KM (Sorry, don't exactly remember but it's definitely still fairly new).
Purchase date: 14 October 2015
Manufacturing Date: November 2014 if I'm not mistaken, which means they're almost 2 years old in actual age.

I bought each of the tyre at RM260 new (RM1040 for 4). I think RM130 per tyre (RM520 for 4) is a good price considering their age and mileage. For the rims which I bought used last time, I think RM300 for all 4 is a good price. They're in good shape as far as I know. Some scratches here and there. So total I'm looking or hoping for is around RM820 for the tyres + rims. Anyone interested please drop me a message.

If you're interested in buying the tyres only I can arrange for that, but I will only sell them in pairs, and preferably all four together.


Edit: No swapping cause I've already got my old Kumho KH17s and steel rims to replace the alloy rims.
