Are you still using stock Bosch brake pads? Yea they were noisy and dusty.

Just to update here, went to change both rear and front brake pads to a more reputable brand introduced by my friend. Problem solved, no more screeching at all, none. Hopefully it will last. Touch wood.

Nope. Trestor metallic plus, sharing the same factory with Bendix. Intoduced by my dad's fren. Used for half a day drive, not a single high pitch screeching sound!

Btw, still got question to ask since Im new to PE. When I'm inside my car with engine on, after I unlocked the car door, I open and close, it will auto lock again after close. normal kah?

i've figured mine is average 100km for 1 quarter which is about 10L. this is for...consider highway driving (Sprint, Kerinchi, LDP) and little bit of jam here and there.  speed at least 120km/h if traffic allows.

go Ipoh at midnight (about 200km) @ 130-150km/h uses about 1.5 quarters (15L-ish). midnight air cooler so better FC. tried noon @ 110km/h (takut saman) uses more.

the last quarter before empty is crazy, i think mine less than 50km on last 1/4 it will lit-up the low petrol warning. so now i got phobia always refuel when reaching 1/4 sign.

not sure if the 4 disc in the sv model is better in braking.

Also, if I remember correctly, the SV's rear seats have adjustable headrests as well

iinm, only the auto version have the adjustable headrest.

saw one in the showroom last week.
they also have seat height adjuster.

Hey guys, can anyone tell me does the strong engine braking effect occur especially down hill occur in the persona and the throttle delay especially from standstill? I question this because my gen2 2004 1.6 auto have this characteristic which is very annoying.Not sure whether the campro iafm have a better tuning on the engine and throttle.

Hi guys. i have a question to ask.
My door switch driver side has been malfunctioning. sometimes when i open the door the switch doesnt trigger therefore my dash board indicator didnt light up and my car light didnt light up. i told them during my last service they just adjust the spring. it work for few days after that the door switch intermittently malfunction again.

Just now i remove the rubber and try to remove the switch by unscrewing the screw that the switch was attached to. i saw sparks between the screw and the body of the switch. i stopped at there. anyone could advice me on this? is this normal

Was it fitted with undersized gen2 window glass? Somebody kena here not sure it's troll or true story...
