QUOTE(szaku89 @ Nov 29 2015, 04:11 PM) Are you still using stock Bosch brake pads? Yea they were noisy and dusty. Just to update here, went to change both rear and front brake pads to a more reputable brand introduced by my friend. Problem solved, no more screeching at all, none. Hopefully it will last. Touch wood. What brand? Bendix CT?

QUOTE(LazyKurosaki @ Dec 4 2015, 09:13 PM) Btw, still got question to ask since Im new to PE. When I'm inside my car with engine on, after I unlocked the car door, I open and close, it will auto lock again after close. normal kah? Yes if your handbrake is down. If your handbrake is up it will not autolock when u close the door.

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Feb 19 2016, 11:04 AM) i've figured mine is average 100km for 1 quarter which is about 10L. this is for...consider highway driving (Sprint, Kerinchi, LDP) and little bit of jam here and there. speed at least 120km/h if traffic allows. go Ipoh at midnight (about 200km) @ 130-150km/h uses about 1.5 quarters (15L-ish). midnight air cooler so better FC. tried noon @ 110km/h (takut saman) uses more. The fuel gauge is not linear la, cannot calculate liddat. My second and third quarter lasts longer than the other two.

Today I filled the boot to the brim with stuffs. It is times like this that make me appreciate the Persona's gas strut bootlid that does not intrude into the bootspace.
Why don't more carmakers do this for their sedans?

The topkekest part is that some of those higher end ones is like "how do we hide this ugly metal gooseneck? I know lets build a big box around it and make the boot smaller !!"

QUOTE(Khoiyat @ Jun 21 2016, 05:19 PM) Hey guys, can anyone tell me does the strong engine braking effect occur especially down hill occur in the persona and the throttle delay especially from standstill? I question this because my gen2 2004 1.6 auto have this characteristic which is very annoying. Not sure whether the campro iafm have a better tuning on the engine and throttle. My Persona SV doesn dot have engine braking in D.

QUOTE(mingwei1992 @ Jun 23 2016, 08:22 PM) Hi guys. i have a question to ask. My door switch driver side has been malfunctioning. sometimes when i open the door the switch doesnt trigger therefore my dash board indicator didnt light up and my car light didnt light up. i told them during my last service they just adjust the spring. it work for few days after that the door switch intermittently malfunction again. Just now i remove the rubber and try to remove the switch by unscrewing the screw that the switch was attached to. i saw sparks between the screw and the body of the switch. i stopped at there. anyone could advice me on this? is this normal Thats because the switch is grounded to the car body via the switch's metal part and the screw., so a tiny spark is normal. Last time my driver door also have this issue, I just tighten the screw to make sure the grounding route is firmly secured. After that it rarely happens anymore.
