At least you have a choice while I don't. sad.gif
Let me see how to fix my YouTube issue.
*
I am still waiting for my Unifi to install, and currently still with Streamyx 8Mbps.
Me too, occasionally have certain YouTube video not loading at all, no matter how many refresh... even changed to 144p and it just won't load... mad.gif

I am using Firefox as my primary browser, whenever some video not loading, I copy the URL and paste it into Google Chrome or IE and the video play... doh.gif

Maybe mine was different case, but just to share my experience so that others can try their luck. smile.gif

Only once a while but most of the time, I'm OK and my quality is usually full HD 1080p.

I suspect the Tmnet/Unifi is changing from a good international Pipe/Backbone to a low quality cheap bad international pipe/backbone, in order to lower the traffic cost of 30mbps-50mbps.

My guess is they rent some low quality international pipe (half the cost or lower), that's why some youtube can't load, and for webmaster their USA server also suffer very huge latency lately.

Does anyone have some insider news ?

No, it's not like that.

The pipe is international standard and there it's the only one pipe.

30/50 they use asymmetrical while old one they use symmetrical which is better one.

I'm not saying the asymmetrical or symmetrical or the cable that is underground in malaysia.
If you are engineer, you will know that the there is several grade of pipe or backbone. Some pipe route directly to US/Europe, some go to maybe hong kong/singapore then US/Europe. That is your "Highway" to international server, some highway is is cheap and bad like your malaysia road with many pothole, some is very good one like germany highway but with higher cost.

I would rather believe TM had increase bandwidth of local peer routing but didn't increase much in terms of international peer routing bandwidth. I didn't find 30/50 much inferior than old VIP plan.

With premium account or just normal?
If normal the lowest I can get is 10kb/s.
The "30"mbps is just for Malaysia to get "developed" country status on 2020 whistling.gif

30 mbps is just to inflate the average internet speed of malaysia without solving the root problem

Well, can you get consistent 30mbps of download 24/7 all the time?
Even my 5mbps only can get 5mbps from 2nd week till end of 3rd week, before it start slowing down to 3-4mbps doh.gif
1st month on unifi even worst, it dropped to 1mbps toward end of month where i download 24/7 most of the time shakehead.gif
So now slow it down to off 10/on 38 and yet I still getting throttle down during night time rclxub.gif

I've called TM cs to upgrade my Vip 5 to Unifi Adv 30mbps this afternoon. The person told me minimum 7 working days to upgrade my package. Is that person reliable though? 7 days? Do what? That long? How long does upgrade usually take?
