QUOTE(haruyap @ Nov 8 2015, 07:32 PM) My streamyx, 4mbps result: But when I stream YouTube, surf Facebook, download files and play Dota - still experience lag and slow Internet (Facebook can't even load next news feed, YT stuck at 360p, can't even load 480p smoothly). Well, I never bother to run those speed test, since I know it is waste of time. Loading a main page fast don't mean anything. High speed internet for Malaysia is still a dream

QUOTE(jusbella @ Nov 13 2015, 02:27 PM) Forget ad, first 10meter / 15 meter is free, den the rest will be charged. But I think u can bargain the price, forumer here said can bargain less than RM100 Normally is RM200. Not really, it can be more by few M and they don't charge extra. But for sure they will charge rm170 if were to climb above the roof.

QUOTE(crazee @ Dec 26 2015, 03:36 PM) damn my rapidagator download kena capped i think now...download about 50KB/s what the hell man no point for me to pay for 30mb..i am not a heavy downloader though..just occasionally anyone facing the same issue? With premium account or just normal? If normal the lowest I can get is 10kb/s. The "30"mbps is just for Malaysia to get "developed" country status on 2020

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Dec 26 2015, 06:52 PM) 30 mbps is just to inflate the average internet speed of malaysia without solving the root problem Well, can you get consistent 30mbps of download 24/7 all the time? Even my 5mbps only can get 5mbps from 2nd week till end of 3rd week, before it start slowing down to 3-4mbps 1st month on unifi even worst, it dropped to 1mbps toward end of month where i download 24/7 most of the time So now slow it down to off 10/on 38 and yet I still getting throttle down during night time

QUOTE(crazee @ Dec 26 2015, 07:28 PM) Of course i have a premium account bro..been downloading at max speed all this while.. After using vpn speed back to normal..confirm kena throttle liao..screw tmnut..hopefully after the festive season they uncap back No need to screw them, as they just following jibby's slogan : Rakyat diperbodohkan But if were to use bypass way to get high speed, it is something not that good also. Very bad way of doing things. QUOTE(zher4883 @ Dec 26 2015, 07:44 PM) to many users are using that website using a vpn can prevent this problem because TM can't see what you are doing and not able to selective throttle Sometimes is they throttle certain websites as when I have such issues, BT can go all the way up till 4mbps

QUOTE(leowjc @ Dec 27 2015, 05:22 PM) so nice, i had received 4-5 calls offering me 30mbpps upgrade, i kept requesting for free fixed line call and 10mbps upload, but none of them are able to offer me. Basically you need to look for reseller, they may able to get you more goodies. Hoping for phone calls are not likely to get, unless they have directive from their boss.

QUOTE(atrocitines @ Dec 30 2015, 09:18 PM) Hi guys, is it normal for people.who surfs the net on PC while someone watches hyyp TV to lag? When I called the tm guys, they asked to change the router. Does it the solve the problem? I am using the 30mbps package. If using Unifi should not lag, even if lag, should be very short period of time. I'm using wireless homeplug, so every now and then sure will have lag. Yesterday tested on wireless HyppTV connection according to 1 of the member's guide here even worst, hang only. TM's router are yesteryear's old stock, so don't expect high performance.

QUOTE(gwong @ Dec 10 2015, 04:32 PM) Hi Guys, I just found out that there's an Android TV Box for Hypp TV via this thread. Any ideas on how to apply to change from the current box to android tv box? Btw, I am on 30Mbps advance plan paying RM199 monthly (excl. GST) but then now they offering the same package for RM179. Can I appeal to TM to switch to the RM179 plan? Just wondering. After market Android box for HyppTv are quite expensive, not that worth.

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 12 2016, 01:45 AM) Guys, I'm facing a problem with my HyppTV. Actually haven't used it in years but decided to try it again. I'm on Adv30. My STB box is the old Huawei one that I got with VIP5. When I watch HD channel like 622 Luxe HD and at the same time I download something which maxes my UniFi 30mbps, the HyppTV starts to jerk and pixelate. It's like there's not enough bandwidth coming to my house. I'm using Homeplug to connect STB to router (Mikrotik RB2011UAS). I also tried using cable, same prob. My STB is Huawei EC2108E. My BTU is the old black Huawei one. What do you think could be the problem? Btw, this was today (Monday), I made a report to 100 at about 5pm. About 8pm, got a call from TM but I missed the call. Pretty good response huh? Then received an SMS where they reset my @iptv password. I re-login but of course, that didn't help. You are not alone, mine also the same sheet. But only happens to other channels than 100-120. Buffering not enough as Unifi for HyppTv are only 8mbps.

QUOTE(cekaro @ Jan 24 2016, 02:10 AM) Well, TM do throttle certain websites every now and then especially during the last 7-10 days of the month. In front of us they are talking not throttling speed when "browsing" but that does not means they don't throttle downloading speed.

QUOTE(Boy96 @ Jan 29 2016, 02:04 AM) Looks like our upload speed has been increased, hopefully it stays Connection is still pretty wonky, keeps disconnecting and normal surfing is slow Best way to test your speed is use download manager and download few big files together, this will max out the DL speed. Mine can get 550-580kb/s most of the time until close to end of the month where the speed on and off will be throttled. When this happens, I use Utorrent to cover the "lost" speed Remember, TM says they don't put quota on DL size, but they throttle on selected servers.
