QUOTE(babycry123 @ Dec 24 2015, 10:02 PM) I'm sing fm's stock router and gateway. How do i check snr margin? I logged in to my router page but found nothing. You can't, unless you are using the same tools that the TM technician used. If you kept the blue installation sheet, it should show the values. edit: wtf my mac's auto correct. I'm using tm's* It's RG INNATECH the silver one. Here are mine: Fiber length: 45m Signal Received at FDP: 15.11 dBm Signal Received at FTB: 15.21 dBm Signal Received at FWS: 16.00 dBm This post has been edited by Colonel Cabuk: Dec 25 2015, 03:11 PM |

QUOTE(christina1 @ Dec 24 2015, 05:01 PM) Hi Guys, Anyone here runs a cybercafe ? Need to know what is the minimum internet speed connection needed for 50 desktop pc. QUOTE(christina1 @ Dec 24 2015, 05:19 PM) Serious 4Mb connection is enough for 50 desktop pc? Malaysian cyber cafes are usually for games so I believe proper QoS management at the router level will be important and you won't need so much bandwidth. By today's standard I think anywhere between 30-50mbps is more than enough for a cyber cafe that size.I am using 10Mb for my desktop also find it quite slow. |

Hi,
I'm on 5mbps plan and lately the network's been unstable and slow most of the times. Is it recommended to upgrade the firmware of my unifi provided router L7 ? Would that help? Thanks. |

Does IPv6 really helpful in YouTube videos? My YouTube issues are just occasionally. Now there's a problem, I can't use IPv6 on my Xiaomi router.

I see. I don't have issues with Facebook, YouTube just once a while.I don't think I can do anything to my router... Only if I use back my stock router, it will be on IPv6. |

This Monday, TM will come to my house to install UniFi and HyppTV.
@all, 1. can you share a list on what i can ask the technician to check before/after installation? 2. can you recommend a local server to download 1GB files? i am likely to get corrupt downloads if the file size is 1GB and above. Since November, my Streamyx connection will get corrupt downloads sometimes even if i download 10MB files. It happens to my PC, PS3 and Vita. It's a intermittent case. Technicians have tried to replace phone cables, reset port and swapping port. They only suggested a ping and speed test... I have switching between TM DNS and Google DNS, replacing a new modem/router. I don't want UniFi to have the same problem as Streamyx. Kindly advise.
