Yes there is 2 fuel pump. Just confirm with sc. Heard soon there is a recall for HPFP.

I don't think so.....because it was manufactured earlier

My 408 turbo already void warranty. Changed the temperature sensor early january and also water pump last tuesday without any cost. Material n manpower free.

If u keep quiet about the temperature sensor and fuel pump, they will also keep quiet. Force them to check in front of you.

Yep, these two items are under recall for some of the earlier batch. But new stock also high possibility come from older batch.

These doesnt mean that your temp sensor and water pump already faulty. It may be a problem soon. Better dont wait, just ask them to check upon next visit.

Will have to depend on situation,usually we put priority on owner that have warranty still valid.but recall is sure been in placed to replace phrase by phrase .it just matter of time

YEs,but we have order from Nasim to prioritize on owner that warranty still valid ....rest will be replace slowly by phase by phase.but also depends on sc ....some we just treat them equally and replaced every unit that come in for service.

Don't expect much recall for the current model ,the hard truth is we are moving on to the next 408 fl models which is coming this April ,much of the modification are done to the facelift version.we are currently more focus on 508 and 208 recall...they are our flagship model.

For example ,up to rm10k worth of parts recall are spend on every 508 that warranty is still intact ,not include the 208 yet .

Guys, I just spoke to my SC. Water pump surely needs replacement on 408t, temperature sensor (they claim) doesn't need to be changed.

SC said for 408t there are a number of things that need to be replaced as part of the recall including the timing belt - I was told it will take at least 2 days just to carry out the 'product enhancements'.

Anyone have further information on the additional items?

Not bad ,usually I saw this stick on the front windscreen at our sc.if u put on that area , I suggest u to tap on the interior light for power .

One last question. Last week I saw in Muar Johor SC there is promotion for air-cond compressor replacement. I ask the SC and they said its nationwide promo. May I know until when? .

For this promotion is End of February .



The turbo and compressor really worth it ...for those warranty that has ended ...u may consider stock up .
If your wiper is near to Kong,should consider this promotion also .

I called the service personnel at the reception. He keeps saying that he will check the water pump. Not sure if he meant it or just to make me go away. How can I push them?
Btw, still waiting for HPFP part. He said need 3 days... zzz... So far not so good impression with Kajang SC. Am I bothering them too much? I just follow up on progress. Don't want to pay them a visit just to remind them this n that. I think I am a reasonable customer. Just expecting them to be more upfront about the vehicle enhancement.

Tks guys for this info. It's really great to have all the inputs! Time for a visit to the SC.
