The Balakong SC charge me only Rm497 & used Mobil 1 5W30 5 litre engine oil. Starting from Oct 2015, The Service advisor told me that Peugeot no longer using Petronas Syntium for Turbo Engine due to some technical issue on Turbo.

I feel Mobil 1 5W30 better....

Euro Tech Auto Works
No 1033 Jalan Cempaka
Sungai Kayu Ara
It's different workshops. I know a bit confusing when they are almost similar names. The one at Taman Mayag is Euro Tech Auto Sdn Bhd. This one is Euro Tech Auto Works.
Yes it is coolant sensor problem. Common fault on the THP 408s. Appreciate cost feedback,tq.

Hi SkyJack,

Once replace the coolant sensor, can the issue pop up again? Did Peugeot come up with improve version of sensor? any idea?

really?! but all this while they been using petronas syntium. How bout Total Oil? did they said anytin bout it? coz im using total oil for my engine.
*
All the Peugeot SC now offering Mobil 1 & Total. No more Syntium oil for Turbo Engine. The advisor told me that Syntium Oil causing sludge build inside Turbo return pipe causing Turbo Jammed.....

After few times of Temperature fluctuation incident happens while driving, Finally get the Sensor replacement under warranty last week at Bi Marque Juru,Penang Citroen/Peugeot SC.

But they just add another optional sensor to overcome the issue..... New design frm Peugeot.

But they not able to solve my Rear Boot switch function fault issue. Yesterday, i went to Peugeot CS Euro Bw, They order for me a New Boot switch from France. Apart from that, i found there is a minor Leaking on the Engine Valve Cover & Both Side mirror V Shape rubber tear into pcs......All claim under warranty & expected to get the replacement part in 2 to 3 weeks time.

Hope settle all the issue as Factory warranty end on 27th Dec 2015.....

It could be the faulty turbo regulation electrovalve. I've the the same issue like yours earlier and was diagnosed with electrovalve faulty.

Just back frm Sc, they told me that Upstream Oxygen sensor fault. Cost abt Rm900..... so expensive huh..... warranty expired edy......

Please share with us where you get quote for oxygen sensor outside? Going to keep in phone directory

Selling some euro parts.

My outside mechanic expert korean n Euro cars told me can get Bosch brand Oxygen sensor since it very cheap n more reliable. For time being, he told me to bring the car tmrw as most of Prince engine case, carbon built up at oxygen sensor head can cause faulty symptoms.

What actually covered in the extended warranty.
*
Engine, gearbox n turbo unit as stated on extended warranty agreement.

We can service outside, the problem is when come to computer checking, most of outside mechanic don't have the new canbus software for 408T as it equip with EP6CDTM with locked OBDII. All under licence.
EP6CDT n EP6DT no issue.

Hi guys. Got the "Engine Fault: Repair Needed" error today. Second time already since last Thursday. Went to the Kota Damansara SC last Friday. He said most likely sensor issue, but no time to repair until after CNY. Told me to make a booking after CNY. Any advice from owners here? Go to another SC? Start the engine today, engine jerked a little then the error appear. Let it rest for about 15 min, then start again. This time jerked even more and then engine died. Then battery died, cannot start anymore. Same symptoms last time. Had to borrow a car to go to work.
*
Similar to mine.....the Engine jerk happens during cold start n dissappear during hot..... issue with upstream O2 Sensor.....i already made the claim, awaiting for part.......

Mean while i get the oem version for Rm250

Original is frm Bosch....seems not lasting

Thanks for your advice. My car still has extended warranty. Is this covered under extended warranty? Where did you get your OEM part from? Need to go to SC to for this repair work?
*
I get the oem sensor frm outside while waiting for the claim which take longer time n can't really stand with jerking...obviously the FC is on high side after this issue....i will replace it my own as it easy.
Any how to erase the fault code, have to go to nearest sc.......

Before replace anything, check with sc....

That's why trying to get Glenmarie or Balakong now. Kota Damansara service is rubbish. I didn't lose my cool because I thought it can wait. Now 2nd time in a week. Cannot tahan anymore.
Btw, can other owners please advice how far can I drive in this state?
*
Try Balakong SC....they much more better....
